UNITED WAY OF SOUTHERN NEVADA LAUNCHES OPERATION BACK TO SCHOOL DRIVE TO SUPPORT LOCAL STUDENTS
Provide essential school supplies from July 14, 2025 to August 4, 2025
United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) is excited to announce the launch of the Operation Back to School Drive. From Monday, July 14 through Monday, August 4, UWSN will be collecting a variety of essential school supplies for students in need.
The following items will be accepted:
- Backpacks
- Crayons
- Markers
- Pencils
- Scissors
- Notebooks
- Folders
“Every student deserves to begin the school year feeling prepared and confident. At United Way of Southern Nevada, we believe success in the classroom starts with the right tools. This drive ensures students have what they need to focus, learn, and thrive,” said Samuel Rudd, President and CEO of United Way of Southern Nevada.
Donations can be dropped off at the United Way of Southern Nevada office located at 5830 W. Flamingo Rd. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Community members who may not have time to shop in person can still support the Operation Back to School Drive by purchasing items through United Way of Southern Nevada’s Amazon Wish List. All donated supplies will be shipped directly to UWSN for distribution.
