Noel Gallagher brings his solo project Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds to the Pearl inside Palms Casino Resort on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 8 p.m.

On November 8, 2011 Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds was released in the US on Sour Mash/Mercury Records followed by their network television debut on The Late Show with David Letterman.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds was recorded in London and completed in Los Angeles during 2010 and the first half of 2011. The album was co-produced by Noel Gallagher and Dave Sardy, who produced the last Oasis album, Dig Out Your Soul (2008).

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds went straight to the #1 spot in the United Kingdom, selling an impressive 240,000 and reaching Platinum in its first three weeks of release. Gallagher’s debut solo album, which was released in Europe on October 2011, ranks among the highest selling debuts of 2011.

Beginning in August, with the UK debut of “The Death of You and Me,” Gallagher has released a trilogy of videos including “If I Had a Gun” and culminating with an amazing video for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ new UK single “AKA… What A Life!” The video was co-directed by Mike Bruce and Blake West, who worked with Gallagher on the video for “The Death Of You And Me.” Filmed in California, Arizona and New Mexico, the video features an outrageous performance by actor/comedian Russell Brand.

This event is produced by Andrew Hewitt and Live Nation. Doors at the Pearl will open at 7 p.m. and show time is 8 p.m. The Pearl Box Office is open daily from noon until 7 p.m. with extended hours on select event days. The Pearl is sponsored by Citi and is now on Twitter. Please follow @PearlatPalms for concert announcements and event information.
