REBELS HIT THE ROAD TO BEEHIVE STATE
The UNLV cross country team will head over to Logan, Utah to compete in the Steve T. Reeder Memorial Invitational, hosted by Utah State Friday afternoon. The meet, which is being contested at the Steve and Rona Reeder Cross Country Course, will kick off with the women’s 5k and men’s 7k which are scheduled for 2 p.m. (PT) and 2:40 p.m. (PT), respectively.
The Steve T. Reeder Invitational will feature teams from all over Utah, including BYU, Utah State, Weber State, Salt Lake Community College and Northwest Nazarene.
LAST TIME OUT
Sophomore Natalia Ruiz led the Rebels at the Roy Griak Invitational, finishing her 6k in with a time of 22:02.1, which currently ranks 15th in the all-time program record book. Juniors Ellen Wise, LaKyla Yazzie and Isabella Schrader came out with season bests of 24:49.8, 25:53.2 and 26:22.5, respectively.

2022 SCHEDULE: UNLV will close out regular-season with a trip to the Golden State for Santa Clara’s Bronco Invitational (Oct. 15). The MW Championships are slated for Oct. 28 in Laramie, Wyoming, while the NCAA Regionals are two weeks later in Seattle, Washington on Nov. 11.
