UNLV visits Houston Christian, UTRGV this weekend
UNLV takes a Texas two-step this weekend as it plays road games at Houston Christian and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
UNLV (1-4-5 overall, 0-1-1 WAC) meets Houston Christian (5-3-3, 1-0-1), formerly Houston Baptist, Friday, Oct. 7, at 5:30 p.m. PT.
Saturday, UNLV travels to Edinburg, Texas, for a 10 a.m. kickoff against UTRGV.
Both games will be streamed live on ESPN+ in the United States and WACInternational.TV in other international regions.
The Rebels have a tall task ahead as they look for league wins.
UNLV is 9-2 all-time versus HCU, who was picked last in the WAC preseason poll. However, the Huskies are a surprising second in the conference standings after taking a 2-0 victory at preseason favorite Seattle U on Sunday.
The Rebels are 4-6 all-time against UTRGV but are winless (0-3) in Edinburg.
The Rebels are back home in Las Vegas on Friday, Oct. 14, versus San Jose State. UNLV remembers its former head coach as it celebrates its first Vince Hart Memorial Game. The UNLV Soccer Federation will host a tailgate with free food and drinks available to all fans.
