Silverton Casino Hotel event raises food for Three Square Food Bank
Successful Zumbathon fundraiser on March 16 brings in food by the tons
Silverton Casino Hotel partnered with Drop Studios and Missy Cochran Entertainment for “Lucky Zumba” held on Friday, March 16 inside Veil Pavilion. The event was such a success that 5,436 lbs. of food was collected in support of Three Square Food Bank.
“Thank you to everyone who came out for the event,” said Alison Gramenos, Creative Director of Silverton Casino Hotel. “We are so proud to be a part of such a supportive community.”
Each guest was asked to donate at least five canned food items to benefit the local Three Square Food Bank. Guests wore their festive green outfits in honor of St. Patty’s Day and showed their commitment to helping feed the hungry in Las Vegas.
