LOCAL BUSINESS STARTUP EXPERT  CHALLENGES COLLEAGUES TO SAY THANKS TO VETERANS IN A WAY THAT REALLY HELPS

While economic recovery debates rage on in our nation’s capital, local business owners, led by business startup expert Scott Letourneau the CEO of Nevada Corporate Planners, have decided to help U.S. military veterans create their own recovery. Letourneau has challenged his fellow business leaders to offer their best pricing and free support to veterans who own a business or want to start one. They’re also hosting a free Veteran’s Training Event on Friday,  November 22nd  where veterans can access all of these startup service discounts and get free mentoring from entrepreneurial experts.

“Veterans can’t use bumper stickers or car magnets to fund their dreams or feed their families,” Letourneau said. “The point of this challenge is to get all of us who have benefitted from their service to band together to make it easier for veterans who want to start or grow a business to make their way back into the civilian economy.”

Southern Nevada entrepreneurs who offer small business services or support products are encouraged to contact Scott Letourneau directly to have their offers included on the Veteran’s Training Day website. “The response has been inspiring,” Letourneau said. “There’s still room for business owners who want to join the challenge and give back to our veterans in the form of bigger discounts or services in kind. Instead of just saying thanks, we ought to be giving them a head start in the system they helped to defend.”

Citibank, ADP, actionCOACH, Durham Jones & Pinegar and PR specialist Bruce Merrin have already joined Letourneau’s Nevada Corporate Planners as participants. Veterans who want to know more about the November 20th training event can get all the details at http://www.nvinc.com/supportourveterans.htm. Business owners who want to take part in the challenge with special discounts or free services for veterans can contact Scott Letourneau directly at scott@nvinc.com or visit the website for the latest information.
