- Apply heat protectant and comb through.
- Grab a section of hair and twist iron 180 degrees away from the face.
- Let curls cool.
- Pull hair from the back forward.
- Don’t get too close to scalp on top.
- Shake it out.

- Apply heat protectant and comb through.
- Start a few inches away from the scalp.
- Insert a section of hair and rock the curved plates forward and back.
- Finish with the ends going under to avoid hair from sticking out.
- Start further out on the top section.
- Bend face framing layers away from the face.
