IGN ENTERTAINMENT RETURNS TO THE COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS

IGN Pro League (IPL) welcomes the world’s best StarCraft II, League of Legends and ShootMania Storm players as they vie for prize pools totaling more than $300,000
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has once again teamed up with the IGN Pro League (IPL) – the professional video game league presented by IGN Entertainment, the world’s leading video games media company – to host IPL 5, a professional video game tournament that brings together the world’s top StarCraft II, League of Legends and ShootMania Storm players to compete for prize pools totaling more than $300,000.
This is the second pro gaming event IGN has hosted at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas – its last event, IPL 4, took place in April 2012, drawing in more than 10,000 spectators and 6 million online viewers.
After emerging victorious at The Cosmopolitan back in April, Korea’s Global StarCraft League will return to IPL 5, where the top Korean StarCraft II players will face-off against all-star players from around the globe in the StarCraft II World Championships. League of Legends’ competitions will feature the best international teams from Asia competing against the best Western players from North America and Europe. And for the first time, IPL 5 will host its latest addition to the roster with Ubisoft’s ShootMania Storm.
