Freakling Bros Horror Shows to pause for 2025 Halloween season to unleash terrifying new experience for 2026

FREAKLING BROS. HORROR SHOWS TO PAUSE FOR 2025 HALLOWEEN SEASON TO UNLEASH TERRIFYING NEW EXPERIENCE FOR 2026

Freakling Bros. Horror Shows to use 2025 for the development and construction of an all-new, next-level haunt experience for 2026

The new haunt is set to be announced on Halloween – Friday, October 31, 2025

Freakling Bros. Horror Shows, the award-winning haunt that has terrified Las Vegas for more than 31 years, has announced a temporary pause for the 2025 Halloween season. A Halloween institution for haunt enthusiasts from around the world, Freakling Bros. Horror Shows will use 2025 for the development and construction of an all-new, next-level haunt experience, which is set to replace the classic Castle Vampyre in 2026.

A staple of the Halloween season and a must-see destination for horror fans from across the globe, Freakling Bros. has become synonymous with uncompromising, high-intensity scares. Known for offering three immersive haunted attractions each year, Freakling Bros. believes anything less would not meet the high standards Freakling guests have come to expect.

“After more than three decades of screams, we’re making the difficult decision to take a year off -not to rest, but to evolve,” said JT Mollner, Co-Owner and Creative Director of Freakling Bros. Horror Shows. “We’ve been preparing to replace Castle Vampyre, our most iconic and long-running haunt, and we want to do it right. Our fans deserve nothing less than the full Freakling Bros. experience and we’re excited to deliver a show that is truly horrifying and spectacular in 2026.”

With additional focus being spent on Co-Creator JT Mollner’s film career, including the success of the film “Strange Darling” and the adaption of Stephen King’s classic novel “The Long Walk,” the possibility of producing a new haunt for 2025 was unattainable. Rather than offer a scaled-back show, the team is using the season to build something bigger, bolder, and scarier than ever before.

Mollner continued, “My dad and I will use this year to fine tune the design and oversee the build of our new show, alongside our longtime team, including General Manager Dave “Korndawg” Martin, recently promoted Vice President Stacy Mata, Lead Stage Manager Shadow Schneider, Production Designer Kevin Brekke,  company mainstay, Director of Operations Warren Ross, and, of course, Ginnie Mollner aka ‘Mama Freakling,’ who will be back in the ticket booth next year.”

Coming in 2026: A New Nightmare Awaits
Set to debut in Halloween 2026, the new haunt will feature a fully reimagined layout, groundbreaking effects, and chilling new themes – all while staying true to the terrifying charm that has made Freakling Bros. Horror Shows a Halloween staple for more than three decades. Details on the new haunt will be revealed on Halloween 2025.

“We’re not going dark – we’re building something in the dark,” said Duke Mollner, Co-Creator of Freakling Brothers Horror Shows. “Halloween won’t be the same without Freakling Bros., but we know this is a necessary step to set Freakling Bros. Horror Shows up for another 30 years. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back in 2026 to experience the next chapter of fear.”
