PT’s Taverns will host Halloween parties with plenty of “boos” at 26 of its 66 locations throughout the Las Vegas Valley and Nevada, including PT’s Pub, PT’s Gold, PT’s Ranch, PT’s Brewing Company, Sean Patrick’s, Sierra Gold and SG Bar, from now through Friday, Nov. 1.

 

Guests are encouraged to get into the Halloween spirit and dress up to participate in costume contests, karaoke and other activities unique to each tavern. Themes range from the 8th Annual “Scaryoke” party at PT’s Gold on 812 W. The SkyPod at The STRAT Hotel, Casino and SkyPod will transform into the ScarePod for a STRATacular Halloween celebration on Thursday, Oct. 31.

 

The evening’s festivities will begin at 9 p.m. and will include live entertainment, an open bar, bites, access to the SkyPod’s newly renovated indoor and outdoor Observation Decks as well as unlimited admission for all STRAT thrill rides. Partygoers are invited to show off their Halloween costumes for a chance to win cash prizes.

 

The thrill rides, which are located at the top of The STRAT with 360-degree views of Las Vegas, include Insanity, a massive mechanical arm extending 64 feet over the edge of the tower at a height of over 900 feet; X-Scream, which hovers 866 feet above the ground and propels riders headfirst, 27 feet over the edge, and Big Shot, which catapults 16 riders 160 feet in the air at 45 miles per hour, crowning the top of the SkyPod at 1,149 feet high.

WHAT:
This Halloween—from Oct. 25 through 31—a coven of witches will descend upon The LINQ Promenade, the popular open-air entertainment, dining and retail district at the heart of the Strip. These sinister characters will stroll the Promenade nightly, casting spells and summoning spirits before being joined by the “high priestess” for a startlingly spooky show on the Fountain Stage. Other seasonal activities will include TRIQ-or-TREAT (a safe trick-or-treat experience for all ages), a Day of the Dead music celebration and the nightly lighting of the High Roller observation wheel in Halloween colors.

GALLERIA ART EXPO
Galleria at Sunset, in partnership with the Las Vegas Artists’ Guild, will host the Galleria Art Expo from noon to 8 p.m. on October 12 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 13. The two-day event will feature all things art, including art displays, live art battles and performances and poetry readings.

The live 30-minute art battles will take place October 12 at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. and the poetry readings and live performances – from Henderson Symphony Orchestra and Opera Las Vegas – begin at 1 p.m. on October. 13.

Located on the ground floor level in the center court, the Galleria Art Expo is free and open to the public and will also present various mediums from leading artists across the valley such as oil and acrylic paintings, sculptures, glass, photography and more. The artists will offer both original works of artwork as well as fine art giclees for purchase.

VETERAN EXPO
Galleria at Sunset will host the Veteran Expo on November 9 and 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event, sponsored by Humana and HealthCare Partners, will celebrate active military and veterans of all ages and branches of service and their families. The expo provides veterans the opportunity to learn more about the many resources, benefits, products and services available to them by local organizations. Veterans can meet with the vendors who are offering assistance to both them and their families. The vendors represent community service providers, VA benefits organizations, nonprofit organizations and local businesses providers.

Halloween festivities will feature a 7,500-square foot space completely transformed into a kid-friendly Halloween headquarters

Tivoli Village is shifting from shopping to shrieking Thursday through Sunday for the month of October, as well as the 29th, 30th and 31st.

Operation Halloween is a family-friendly, indoor Halloween experience where guests will explore five meticulously themed rooms for 55 minutes and will include a witch’s mansion, a pumpkin patch, a superhero playground and more. Activities are hands-on and all ages are welcome to participate. Operation Halloween will transform Tivoli Village’s 7,500-square foot space into a kid-friendly Halloween headquarters for safe, family entertainment. While the streets of Tivoli will be fully immersed in the Halloween spirit, the lifestyle center has dedicated itself to delivering a fun and stimulating experience appropriate for all ages.

Operation Halloween is open every Thursday through Sunday throughout the month of October, as well as the entire week of Halloween. Tickets are available for purchase and will start at $32.

The month-long festivities will also feature an attraction for more daring thrill-seekers, the Undead Maze. The spooky labyrinth will span more than 2,000-square feet and is home to zombies, killer clowns, chainsaws, toxic waste and monsters that lurk behind every twist, turn and dark corner. Admission to the Undead Maze is $10 for those brave enough to enter. All proceeds will benefit the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, the most comprehensive provider for the thousands of homeless youth in Southern Nevada.

The Undead Maze is open for scaring in October from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. for family fun without actors and 7 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday; Sundays with actors until 10 p.m. There is no age requirement but it is best suited for ages 10 and older.

In preparation for Halloween, Tivoli Village has also welcomed Spirit Halloween to the lifestyle center, your one-stop-shop for Halloween where you can find all the best costumes, accessories and animatronics. Starting this weekend — Oct. 27 through 31 — celebrate Halloween at The LINQ Promenade, the popular open-air entertainment, dining and retail district at the heart of the Strip. The LINQ Promenade will transform into a ghoulish Halloween experience with TRIQ-or-treating, a costume contest, Monster’s Ball stage show, balloon artists, magician and street characters.

EVENTS AND FEATURES:

Saturday, Oct. 27

  • TRIQ or TREAT: 2 – 6 p.m. – Caesars Entertainment Employees and locals are invited to The LINQ Promenade for safe, street trick or treating. Tenants to provide candy to TRIQ-or-treaters.
  • Balloon Artists and Magicians: 2 – 6 p.m.
  • High Roller Observation Wheel: 4 – 10 p.m. – The world’s tallest observation wheel at 550 will be lighted in a Halloween color scheme.
  • Costume Contest: Registration starts at 6 p.m.; Contest starts at 9 p.m. – X Burlesque comedian Nancy Ryan will emcee the annual contest with awards including $15,000 in cash and prizes for best group costume (two or more people) and best individual costume (must be 21+ to enter).

Chumlee Enlists Level Ten Salon to Give Kids from Children’s Heart Foundation Some Spooky Fun this Halloween with Event on Oct. 27

 

A longtime supporter of Children’s Heart Foundation, Austin “Chumlee” Russell of History Channel’s “Pawn Stars” enlists the help of friends at Level Ten Salon (10345 S. Eastern Ave.) to treat the littlest of Heart Heroes to a spooktacular Halloween event on Saturday, Oct. 27 at the popular salon from 9-11 a.m.   Children’s Heart Foundation’s creepy critters and ghoulish guests are invited to trick-or-treat inside Level Ten Salon, where there will be more than 30 stations transformed to for Halloween fun and salon staff dressed in costumes giving away special treats provided by Chumlee’s Candy on the Blvd., making this Halloween a holiday to remember for the kids.

 

“A special thank you from all our heart families in Las Vegas to Chumlee and Level Ten Salon for putting this amazing event together for our heart kids,” says Kelley McClellan, Executive Director of Children’s Heart Foundation.  “It’s through events like these and community support, our heart heroes have the opportunity to lead full, fun and regular lives.”

Whether in Southern Highlands, Summerlin, Henderson or Centennial Hills, ghoulish guests 21 and over will have a wicked good time at this annual bash with live music while sipping their favorite brew and enjoying food specials throughout the evening.
