His irreverent, observational style and natural storytelling flair gelled quickly. All of which led him to a four-night opening stint in Las Vegas. Fueled by his success in Vegas, Kennedy was able to secure a featured slot at a gig in the state of Washington. Similar gigs followed and eventually, he signed a comedy album deal with BMG/Broken Bow – the record label he was previously an executive. He has since toured extensively throughout the United States and overseas and in October 2022, Kennedy made his debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage.
