Trumpeter and singer Brian Newman will bring his late-night show, Brian Newman: AFTER DARK, back to NoMad Las Vegas, the luxury resort experience located within Park MGM, for 12 dates in 2020.

Currently serving as the bandleader for the LADY GAGA JAZZ & PIANO resident show at Park Theater, Newman has created Brian Newman: AFTER DARK as an ode to vintage Las Vegas, providing guests a late-night rendezvous filled with great music, good friends and craft cocktails. Intimate evenings are filled with special guest performers from New York City, Las Vegas and beyond. Past guests have included  Lady Gaga, Ashanti, Jaclyn McSpadden of Postmodern Jukebox and Puddles Pity Party, among many others. Burlesque star and award-winning entertainer Angie Pontani is scheduled to perform with Newman April 30 – May 10.

 

Tickets starting at $65 including fees are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets or online at ticketmaster.com. Shows are scheduled to begin at 11 p.m. with the exception of performances on May 3, 7, 10 and 16 which are scheduled to begin at 11:30 p.m. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend.

 

Brian Newman: AFTER DARK has been described by the Las Vegas Review-Journal as “a next-level cool hangout,” and according to Billboard Magazine, the unique show “reimagines the classic Las Vegas lounge show.” 

 

Newman has made a name for himself as a consummate entertainer on the New York City club circuit in recent years with extended engagements at The Oak Room, Birdland, The McKittrick Hotel and The Rose Bar. His recently released debut album SHOWBOAT proves that jazz isn’t what it used to be. The album provides Newman with the opportunity to break the art form out of its constraints, allowing the jazz influences of Miles Davis and Chet Baker to find room with his love of rock bands such as Nirvana, Beck and Thin Lizzy.

 

Newman recently co-produced the soundtrack version of “La Vie En Rose” for the film “A Star Is Born” with Lady Gaga and was her bandleader and trumpeter for the Cheek to Cheek project with Tony Bennett. Both albums debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart. They originally met in the downtown New York City club scene where Newman was a bartender and they discovered their shared love for jazz and tattoos (the two share the same tattoo on their right arms of Miles Davis’ trumpet taken from a sketch done by Tony Bennett).

 

Hailing from Cleveland, Newman played trumpet for his local high school jazz band, and honed his skills listening to his musical influences. He attended the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music but decided to end his formal training and move to New York City in 2003. During that time, he hustled for club gigs, recorded on hip-hop sessions and tended bar. His exposure to the music scene expanded and he landed a regular gig at Plaza Hotel’s famed Oak Room where Stefani Germanotta first heard him perform. Their friendship led to Brian’s involvement in the Cheek to Cheek project and the global world tour. His engaging stage persona, musical chops, suave suits and jazz/rock communion has created a unique sound and sensibility.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is pleased to announce PLATINUM-certified independent singer, songwriter, producer and pop visionary Lauv will perform at The Chelsea  on Saturday, Aug. 22 as a stop on his “~how i’m feeling world tour~”.

 

The 65+ date world tour, which was announced today, will mark the largest tour of Lauv’s career and will kick off this spring in Mexico. His Las Vegas show will include opening performances from Charlotte Lawrence and Alexander 23.

NFL Hall of Famer and Beloved Entertainer to Showcase Knack for Comedy, Singing and Storytelling with Ongoing Performances

 

 Following his celebrated shows in Las Vegas and Atlantic City in 2019, “The Terry Bradshaw Show” will kick off a residency at Luxor Hotel and Casino in March.

 

The man behind it all, NFL legend and iconic entertainer, Terry Bradshaw, chronicles his life through the musical, comedy, and storytelling production. The residency is set to debut inside the Atrium Showroom at Luxor on Thursday, March 19, with all shows scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

 

In the production, Bradshaw entertains the crowd with his dynamic singing ability, endearing personality and charisma in a 70-minute show that accounts his life’s journey. The production showcases Bradshaw’s vocal talents, award-winning storytelling style and the same straight-shooting humor that has made Bradshaw an all-time favorite as an Emmy Award-winning co-host and analyst on FOX NFL Sunday.

 

The talented team behind “The Terry Bradshaw Show” includes musical direction by Smokin’ Joe Escriba. The show was written by Jon Macks with original songs by David Goldsmith and John Kavanaugh. Development and production of the show was provided by Anita Mann Productions, with continued production by Bradshaw Enterprises II.

Standup comedian and actor Joey Diaz will perform live at the Treasure Island Theatre on Feb. 28 at 9 p.m.

Diaz got his start in comedy while serving a short stint in a correctional facility in 1988. The prison’s projector would occasionally break on weekly movie nights, so Diaz would do stand up comedy to fill in time. Since then, his passion for storytelling has taken him from the stage to the big screen.

While touring as a comedian, Diaz began acting and appeared in television shows such as “My Name is Earl,” “Children’s Hospital” and “The Mentalist.” Diaz also held recurring sketch roles on “Stand Up Revolution and “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Appearing in multiple films, Diaz can be seen in the “The Longest Yard,” “Spider-Man 2” and “Taxi.” Most recently, he appeared as Robert De Niro’s boxing coach in “Grudge Match.”

After the popularity of his short comedy series “The Testicle Testaments,” Diaz starred in his first hour special “Socially Unacceptable,” tackling topics of drugs and his wild youth. Most recently, he appeared in the Netflix stand up comedy series “The Degenerates.”

Country Music Star Gary Allan will mark his return to M Resort Spa Casino for a special poolside performance on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the M Pool. With the allure of a modern day outlaw, Gary Allan has won over fans, peers and critics with his signature blend of smoldering vocals, rebellious lyrics and raucous live performances. While becoming a force on the country music scene, Allan has remained true to his artistic voice each step of the way. Currently finishing up work for his upcoming EMI Nashville release, Allan’s last album, Set You Free, topped the Billboard 200 Pop Chart, and debuted at the top of the Billboard Country Album chart. It also produced his fifth number one country radio chart-topper, “Every Storm Runs Out of Rain.” Since releasing his first album in 1996 titled Used Heart for Sale, Allan has released eight additional studio albums selling more than 8 million albums and 10 million tracks.
