AREA15 NAMED “BEST ATTRACTION” FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR AND “BEST RAVE RESURGENCE” IN LAS VEGAS WEEKLY’S BEST OF VEGAS AWARDS
AREA15, the immersive art and entertainment district located minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, announces it has received two prestigious awards in Las Vegas Weekly’s 2023 Best of Vegas Awards. For the third consecutive year, AREA15 was voted as the readers’ choice winner for “Best Attraction” in the “This & That” category.
The entertainment district was also selected as editor’s choice award for “Best Rave Resurgence.” This distinction was awarded for spearheading the revival of multi-venue Massives stating “The classic warehouse rave has been gussied up with tech spectacle and an artist’s sensibilities to produce Area15’s festival-like series of massives, from last month’s Happy Camper event to October’s Odyssium. Leave it to these bold creatives to come up with a new music party Vegas didn’t know it needed.”
Additionally, AREA15 anchor tenant Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart was voted as readers’ choice winner for “Best Immersive Attraction” while the venues resident toy expert, Kappa Toys, was voted as the readers’ choice award for “Best Toy Store.”
The awards were announced at Las Vegas Weekly’s Best of Vegas 2023 event hosted by Greenspun Media Group and held at Zouk Nightclub inside Resorts World Las Vegas. The awards, which highlight the most noteworthy businesses in Southern Nevada in categories such as art, food, attractions, nightlife, sports and more, also appear in the August 10 issue of the publication.
These awards come just a few months after being voted number one on Blooloop’s 2023 list of “The World’s Top Immersive Art Experiences.”
