ASYLUM BAR + ARCADE ANNOUNCES AUGUST HAPPENINGS
Asylum Bar + Arcade, the ultimate gaming destination for every taste and skill level at AREA15, announces its roster of happenings this August. From ongoing beverage specials for locals to brand-new programs such as karaoke, trivia and emo nights, Asylum offers endless entertainment in a vibrant atmosphere. The roster of August happenings follows:
Arcade Glory – An Ode To The EMO Movement
Date: Thursday, Aug. 17
Time: 7 to 10 p.m.
Cost: Admission is complimentary.
Description: It’s not a phase! Guests are invited to Asylum’s monthly Emo Night featuring EMO-inspired DJs and live bands. 25% off beverages for all guests from 7 to 11 p.m.
Cannabis Agent Appreciation Event with DJ Matt Lucio
Date: Friday, Aug. 18
Time: 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Cost: Admission is complimentary.
Description: Cannabis agents are invited to an industry appreciation event on the third Friday of each month. Invited guests will receive complimentary tokens for arcade play. This month’s event includes a celebratory 1-year anniversary party with DJ Matt Lucio.
“Power Up” Happy Hour Special for Locals
Dates: Every Monday through Thursday.
Time: 11 a.m. to midnight.
Cost: 25% off all beverages with a valid Nevada ID.
Description: Nevada residents are invited to enjoy “Power Up,” a special all-day happy hour featuring 25% off all beverages every Monday through Thursday. Locals 21 and up can imbibe with Asylum’s expansive array of curated canned and draft beers, house-made boozy slushies, draft cocktails, fine spirits, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
Live DJ Nights
Dates: Weekly, Friday through Monday. Check Asylum’s online calendar for the latest updates.
Time: 6 to 10 p.m.
Cost: Admission is complimentary.
Description: Asylum invites guests to its rotating roster of live performances by Las Vegas’ most talented DJs. Regular performers spinning tunes include Matt Lucio, Teen Wolf, DJ Que, DJ Stretch, DJ Gettright and DJ Chucky Chuck.
Trivia Night
Date: August 15
Time: 7 p.m.
Cost: Admission is complimentary.
Description: Asylum hosts monthly themed trivia nights. Guests will receive 25% off all beverages with a valid Nevada I.D.
Karaoke Night
Date: August 24
Time: 8 p.m.
Cost: Admission is complimentary.
Description: Asylum hosts themed nights each month. August is open format-karaoke night. Guests will receive 25% off all beverages with a valid Nevada ID.
Purchase Tickets to Smokus Pocus and Receive Free Tokens at Asylum
Dates: Aug. 13, 14, 16, 17, 21, 22 and 31.
Times: Door open at 7:30 p.m.; show begins at 8 p.m.

Description: This August, visitors purchasing a ticket to Smokus Pocus will receive $5 of complimentary game tokens at Asylum that may be redeemed with the hostess upon entry. As the dopest show in Las Vegas, guests can witness a higher kind of magic at AREA15 in an experience packed with tricks so trippy they’ll be asking “what the f—?!” Caricatures come to life, objects vanish and reappear in impossible places, minds are read and more.
Asylum Included in AREA15’s Brand-New Experience Pass
Dates: Available daily.
Times: Passes can be redeemed after 11 a.m. Guests are recommended to arrive no later than 6 p.m. to provide ample time to experience AREA15’s attractions. Please note AREA15 is strictly 21+ after 9 p.m. but most attractions are open until midnight.

Description: AREA15’s brand-new Experience Pass provides access to some of the most popular rides, attractions, games, VR/AR and walk-through experiences at the immersive entertainment complex, including $5 of tokens at Asylum. In addition, guests can experience additional entertainment located on Asylum’s first floor with the pass such as the Phoenix Racing SIM in partnership with Formula 1, Oz Ride and Van Gogh VR.
