The “greatest two minutes in sports” turns into the greatest two days for horse racing fans at the Rampart Casino in Summerlin. Those who gallop over to the casino will experience all the excitement of the 149th annual Kentucky Derby.

Betting Seminar inside Cascade: Get to know the ins and outs of horse race betting from veteran handicapper Bob Ike and Race & Sports Manager Duane Colucci during this exciting and educational seminar.
Duane Colucci and Bob Ike are available for interviews in-studio as well as live shots.

$1,000 Kentucky Derby Hat Contest and Race Day Specials: In true Derby fashion, Rampart Casino is inviting guests to pull out their over-the-top and fabulous hats on race day for a chance to win a portion of the $1,000 prize pool in free slot play. Participants can enter the contest at the Casino Valet area between 1-2:30 p.m. The contest features a parade of contestants throughout the casino beginning at 2:30 p.m. The winner will be announced following the running of the race.
Those who place a derby wager for $50 or more prior to the race will receive their choice of a coupon to Clubhouse Deli for their choice of free chicken fingers, hamburger, or hot dog, and fries, or they can choose a $5 off coupon for Market Place Buffet.
Additionally, all casino bars will feature $5 Mint Juleps and Oaks Derby Cocktails, $15 buckets of Blue Moon beer, and more!
