AWAKENING AT WYNN LAS VEGAS CELEBRATES 500 PERFORMANCES OF THE ONLY-IN-LAS VEGAS SPECTACLE
On March 25, Awakening, the modern “only-in-Las Vegas” spectacle, celebrated its 500th performance in the custom-designed 360-degree Awakening theater. The cast celebrated the milestone with a choreographed dance video highlighting specialty acts and the fan-favorite whale puppet from the water realm.
From the show’s debut, Awakening has welcomed celebrities such as global superstar Katy Perry, Broadway legend Chita Rivera, global phenomenon magician David Blaine and GRAMMY® Award-Winner Gloria Estefan. The two-time Academy Award® winner and show’s narrator Anthony Hopkins was amazed by the talented cast and crew. Additionally, Television host Amanda Kloots and professional dancer Cheryl Burke joined the cast at rehearsals to learn choreography from the fire and water realms.
Awakening continues to dazzle audiences by adding new acrobatics, aerialists, and comedic moments throughout the show. All while the crowd favorites of the larger-than-life puppetry and show-stopping illusions continue to fill the multi-level stage through the realms of water, earth, and air.
Performances of Awakening are Friday – Tuesday at 7 p.m., with additional performances at 9:30 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Tuesdays. The show is dark on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Tickets can be purchased at Awakening.com or by visiting the Box Office at Wynn Las Vegas.
