The legendary Billy Bob’s Texas, located in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District, first opened in 1981. Billy Bob’s Texas has applied for a new permit that would allow the legendary Stockyards bar to open and operate as a restaurant, under restaurant guidelines. Management is still working on a few details but has every intention of opening BBT and the Honky Tonk Kitchen sometime between August 12-14.

Did you know that every two seconds, someone in America requires blood? People with cancer, trauma patients, premature babies, accident victims and more.

As a national network, the Red Cross has a responsibility to meet the demand for blood and help ensure it is available for patients whenever and wherever it is needed, but we need your help. The coronavirus pandemic has caused a decline in blood units collected.

Casey will be playing music throughout the day, so the donors can hear some live music while they donate! Casey and Melinda will also be giving away goodie bags.

Red Cross is taking all safety precautions to protect donors and staff. Everyone that comes into the blood drive will have to wear a mask and have their temperature taken. All surfaces are completely sanitized between donors. As an added benefit, all blood, platelet, and plasma donations will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies as an additional health service to blood donors.

Note: The Red Cross is not testing donors to diagnose illness, referred to as a diagnostic test, and a positive antibody test results do not confirm infection or immunity; a positive antibody test indicates potential exposure to the virus.

Congressman Roger Williams (R-TX-25) will be holding a press conference at Billy Bob’s Texas on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 11:00AM (CT) highlighting the urgency of providing relief to independent live music venues through the Save Our Stages Act. He will be joined by venue owners and artists from the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

 The 55th Academy of Country Music Awards™ scheduled to air live on the CBS Television Network on Sunday, April 5th from Las Vegas is postponed and will be rescheduled to air on CBS in September, at a date, time and venue to be determined. The health and safety of our artists, fans, industry, staff and partners is our number one priority.

“The ACM Awards® is a tentpole event for our Country Music industry, and the Academy of Country Music® and dick clark productions went to great lengths to find a safe solution for the show to go on so that we can honor our artist community. This decision involved many partners, stakeholders and the industry who we have been in constant conversations with over the past several days as the situation has developed. Kane Brown, an American Music Award winner, is known for top hits including “What Ifs,” “Heaven” and the album “Kane Brown,” all landing on the music charts. The CMT Music Awards nominee has also crossed genres with an EDM single with artist Marshmello, lending his voice to the song, “One Thing Right.”

Edgewater’s E-Center will host live entertainment throughout the weekend of the Laughlin River Run, starting with the Grand Funk Railroad band on Friday, April 24. Hailing from Michigan, the “We’re an American Band” group is known for their crowd rocking music style and toured extensively over the past five decades to sold out audiences.

 

Kenny Wayne Shepherd will take the stage on Saturday, April 25. The blues singer and guitarist has headlined for iconic rock acts such as Van Halen, The Eagles and the Rolling Stones and has appeared as a musical guest on national late-night shows, including the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

With the announcement of 3 Doors Down on Tuesday, the Greeley Stampede lineup is now set for 2020. The chart topping powerhouse rock band will headline the SuperStars Concert Series at the Greeley Independence Stadium in Greeley, Colorado Saturday, June 27th.

McCoo and Davis, both former members of The 5th Dimension, have long careers as recording artists, performers and authors. The group earned international acclaim in the early ‘80s with the release of its debut album “Dawn Patrol” and its hit single, “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me.” Their follow-up effort, 1984’s “Midnight Madness,” contained Night Ranger’s best-known hit, “Sister Christian,” as well as “When You Close Your Eyes” and “Rock in America.” “Sister Christian” peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard charts. Artist Info:  Tinsley Ellis wears his Southern roots proudly. Born in Atlanta in 1957, he grew up in southern Florida and first played guitar at age eight. In 1981, along with veteran blues singer and harpist Chicago Bob Nelson, Tinsley formed The Heartfixers, a group that would become Atlanta’s top-drawing blues band. Before long, Alligator arranged to reissue his previous albums Cool On It and Tore Up, thus exposing Tinsley’s blistering earlier music to a growing fan base. Survivor released their first album in 1980 on Scotti Brothers. Richard Marx’s nearly three-decade-long career has had innumerable highlights. Marx has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, starting with his self-titled debut, which went to #8 and spawned four Top 5 singles, including the chart-topping “Hold on to the Nights,” with “Don’t Mean Nothing” earning him a Grammy nomination for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. The follow-up, 1989’s Repeat Offender, was even more successful, hitting #1 and going quadruple-platinum with two #1 singles in “Satisfied” and “Right Here Waiting.” When both Rush Street (with two #1 AC hits in “Keep Coming Back” and “Hazard”) and Paid Vacation (with its #1 AC hit, “Now and Forever”) went platinum, Marx achieved a seven-year string of triumphs that rivaled any in pop-rock music history.
