The fall season is here and Galleria at Sunset has a full slate of events and activities planned for the entire family, including opportunities to support local schools.
SUNSET STUDENTS GETS SPOOKY THIS OCTOBER
Supporting local schools is as easy as going shopping! Galleria at Sunset’s ‘Sunset Students’ program is currently underway, with spook-tacular ways for shopping afionados to get involved this October. The program will award schools with points for every dollar spent at the shopping center through April 30, 2020. Schools that earn the most points will receive cash prizes.
Opportunities to earn double, triple and bonus points for schools in October, include:
- Earn triple points in October when you shop at EXPRESS or dine at World of Beer.
- Become an Insider member by Saturday, October 19 and become eligible for an upcoming gift card promotion and earn double points.
- Friday, October 25 through Thursday, October 31, can earn double points by making a purchase at the new and expanded Forever 21.
- Unlock bonus points by visiting sunsetstudents.cheerity.com, snapping a photo and posting to social media.
- Earn 100 bonus points by checking in at Galleria at Sunset Guest Services at the Monster Bash with Hot 97.5.
Shoppers can help earn points for participating Henderson schools by presenting their receipts to Galleria at Sunset Guest Services Center or by submitting online at MarketingGuru.com/Receipts.
MONSTER BASH WITH HOT 97.5 FM PRESENTED BY HENDERSON HYUNDAI
The Monster Bash Halloween Event is on October 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. The family-friendly extravaganza will take place throughout the shopping center and includes a costume contest and giveaways. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their best costume and enjoy trick-or-treating throughout Galleria at Sunset. All contests are free to enter and trick-or-treating is first-come-first-serve. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bag for trick-or-treating.

THE ELITE AND JUST CLEAN VW CAR SHOW
One of the valley’s largest car shows is coming to Galleria at Sunset on October 5. The Elite and Just Clean VW Car Show will be located in the parking lot in front of World of Beer from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The all-ages event is free and welcomes more than 200 classic Volkswagens, vendors and awards for Best in Show, Best Restoration and more.
GALLERIA ART EXPO
Galleria at Sunset, in partnership with the Las Vegas Artists’ Guild, will host the Galleria Art Expo from noon to 8 p.m. on October 12 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 13. The two-day event will feature all things art, including art displays, live art battles and performances and poetry readings.
The live 30-minute art battles will take place October 12 at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. and the poetry readings and live performances – from Henderson Symphony Orchestra and Opera Las Vegas – begin at 1 p.m. on October. 13.
Located on the ground floor level in the center court, the Galleria Art Expo is free and open to the public and will also present various mediums from leading artists across the valley such as oil and acrylic paintings, sculptures, glass, photography and more. The artists will offer both original works of artwork as well as fine art giclees for purchase.
VETERAN EXPO
Galleria at Sunset will host the Veteran Expo on November 9 and 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event, sponsored by Humana and HealthCare Partners, will celebrate active military and veterans of all ages and branches of service and their families. The expo provides veterans the opportunity to learn more about the many resources, benefits, products and services available to them by local organizations. Veterans can meet with the vendors who are offering assistance to both them and their families. The vendors represent community service providers, VA benefits organizations, nonprofit organizations and local businesses providers.
More than 50 local and national veterans services organizations have been invited to participate in the expo, ensuring it is the leading veterans-related event in Southern Nevada. Visit galleriaatsunset.com/events for a complete list of participating vendors.
