Las Vegas’ largest certified farmers market invites families throughout the Las Vegas valley to participate in educational programing designed to promote healthy living
WHAT:
fresh52, Las Vegas’ largest certified farmers market, has been selected to partner with the Power of Produce (POP) Club to provide educational programming and interactive activities to promote wellness and healthy living throughout the month of September. POP Club provides a fun opportunity for children to engage in the local food system through conversations directly with farmers, educational games and demonstrations, and exposure to new fruits and vegetables.
Children will be encouraged to take part in a range of activities including farmers market scavenger hunts, activity books, two-bite tastings and more. For each activity completed, POP Club kids can earn up to $15 worth of vouchers to spend at the market, empowering them to make their own healthy food choices.
