Golden Nugget Las Vegas Welcomes 14th Annual Grand Poker Series, Introduces “$1 Million Poker News Cup”
This year’s series will take place May 31 – July 3, 2022
Golden Nugget Las Vegas Hotel and Casino proudly presents the 14th Annual Grand Poker Series May 31 – July 3, 2022, hosted in the Grand Event Center and featuring 81 poker tournaments spread across 34 days. Tournaments range in both buy-in amounts and poker disciplines.
Of the 81 events on the schedule, 61 are in various forms of No Limit Hold’Em games and tournaments. Other events include stand-alone Omaha 8 or Better, Pot Limit Omaha, Triple Stud, and Big-O events, along with mixed game formats including No Limit Hold’Em, Razz, Stud, Stud 8 or Better, Pot Limit Omaha, Omaha 8 or Better, 2-7 Triple Draw and Big-O.

Buy-ins range from $125 to $1,100, and most days, feature at least three events – at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 7 p.m.
Offerings at the Grand Poker Series include a daily guaranteed prize pool No Limit Hold’Em Event almost every day at 1 p.m., a $125 buy-in event at 7 p.m. each night, a $250K Guarantee Prize Pool 9 Flight $200 buy-in Event on June 2 through 5, a $250K Guarantee Prize Pool 9 Flight “Ultimate Re-Entry” $200 buy-in Event on June 9 through 12, a $250K Guarantee Prize Pool 9 Flight “Mystery Bounty” $300 buy-in Event on June 17 through 20, a $1,000,000 Guarantee Prize Pool 3 Flight “PokerNews Cup” $1,100 buy-in Event on June 24 through 28 and a $500K Guarantee Prize Pool 3 Flight $600 buy-in Championship Event on June 30 through July 3, 2022. The always exhilarating Bar Poker Open Championship will return June 13 through 16, as well as multiple Seniors Events June 24 through 30 and a Ladies Event on June 28.
