Clique Hospitality has announced September hours and events for Eight Lounge and Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge at Resorts World Las Vegas. Eight Lounge
Humidor and lounge open daily at noon.
Eight, a lush cigar and cocktail lounge at Resorts World, takes its name from the lucky number in Chinese culture. The number eight is incorporated throughout the 7,000-square-foot space featuring a custom-built walk-in humidor and a 2,200-square-foot terrace. Named “Best Cigar Shop” back-to-back in Las Vegas Weekly’s 2023 and 2024 “Best of Vegas” awards, “Best Cigar Lounge” by VEGAS Magazine’s 2023 “Best of the City” awards and awarded silver for “Best Cigar Lounge” in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s 2024 “Best of Las Vegas” awards, Eight offers more than 150 cigars from Drew Estate, Arturo Fuente and Ashton, along with an ever-changing rotation of other top-notch cigars. - Fans can catch all of the pro football action at Eight Lounge. Eight will open daily at 12 p.m., showcasing all of the games on the lounge’s seven large-format HDTVs. To sweeten the viewing experience, once per month, Eight will give away two tickets to a Las Vegas home game. Guests receive one entry by attending Eight Lounge for any of the football viewings, professional or college, then receive additional entries by purchasing a bucket of Modelo or Corona priced at $30 during a game. - Start the football season off right at Eight Lounge with a viewing party starting at noon on Thursday, September 4. Guests can indulge in an open bar from 4-5 p.m. with light bites to complement the evening, plus special giveaways for fans.
- Friday, Sept. 12 – Sunday, Sept. 14: Mexican Independence Day
- Guests can kick off the vibrant Mexican Independence Day weekend at Eight Lounge with tequila and mezcal specials all weekend long. No celebration is complete without music as Eight will feature a lineup of live DJs to set the rhythm of dance the night away.
- Saturday, Sept. 13: Alvarez v. Crawford Viewing
- Boxing fans can make the most of Mexican Independence Day weekend with a featured viewing party of the Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford fight, starting at 5 p.m..
- Thursday, Sept. 18: Sticks & Kicks
- Eight Lounge invites guests to join them as they once again unite cigar and shoe culture for a night of revelry with “Sticks and Kicks.”
- Thursday, Sept. 25: Havana After Dark
- Eight will come alive with vibrant rhythms during Havana After Dark, a monthly celebration of Cuban music and dance. Starting at 8 p.m., Puro Vicente and the Space to Pace Band will deliver electrifying live performances, while a professional instructor leads guests through cha-cha, salsa and mambo steps starting at 9 p.m. Between sets, a DJ will play a dynamic mix of Latin and Top 40 hits, keeping the dance floor packed all night.
Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge
Open daily at 4 p.m.
Raising the bar and bringing the bubbles to Resorts World, Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge is an upscale escape offering a cache of vintage and rare champagnes, vivid artisanal cocktails and aromatic wines. Located in the heart of the resort, the chic cocktail bar was recently awarded “Best Cocktail Presentation” in Las Vegas Weekly’s 2024 “Best of Vegas” awards and offers a 360-degree bar with thoughtfully cultivated soundtracks, including DJ sets and live music.
