Harlø Steakhouse & Bar at Downtown Summerlin® is now offering its April tasting menu, featuring the authentic flavors of Japan.


Each year, the blooming cherry blossom trees signal the arrival of Spring, serving as a gentle reminder of the delicate and revitalizing essence found in Japanese cuisine. Inspired by the refined artistry of Japan’s culinary philosophy that values simplicity, elegance and a deep respect for ingredients, guests can enjoy Executive Chef Partner Gina Marinelli’s newest curation of dishes highlighting Japan’s sweet and savory tastes. Priced at $95 per person, the four-course tasting menu offers authentic Japanese cuisine including:

· First course (choice of):

· Ocean trout sashimi served with cherry blossom shoyu, watermelon radish and lemongrass

· Lobster chawanmushi served with smoked trout roe, crispy shallots and shiso

· Second course: Sea urchin “ramen” made with housemade ramen noodles, Santa Barbara uni and lime butter

· Third course (choice of):

· Halibut katsu made with matsutake aioli, Clasby’s bok choy and cilantro salsa verde

· Cowboy “nigiri” made with wagyu New York striploin, truffle soy and sushi rice

· 4 oz. A5 wagyu miyazaki striploin (+$88)

· Dessert: Ichigo daifuku made with strawberry mochi, yuzu chantilly and red bean


Additionally, to pair with the four-course menu, Harlø Steakhouse will offer featured cocktails and Japanese whiskies, including:

· Okinawa Dawn, made with Gruven potato vodka, lychee and lime ($16)

· Tokyo Twilight, made with suntory toki whiskey, Lustau amontillado sherry, benedictine, walnut, black sesame and white balsamic shrub ($19)

· Kaiyo, Mizunara Oak ($19)

· Suntory, AO, World Whiskey ($24)

· Nikka, Miyagikyo ($26)


Next month, Harlø Steakhouse will offer Chef Gina Marinelli’s May tasting menu highlighting the flavors of Spain.
