ICONIC “CRAZY GIRLS” STATUE MAKES GRAND ARRIVAL AT CIRCA RESORT & CASINO IN LAS VEGAS
Legendary “No If, Ands or…” Bronze Statue from Riviera Hotel Las Vegas’ Burlesque Show Officially Struts into New Home at Legacy Club this Friday, June 27
Circa Resort & Casino in downtown Las Vegas welcomed home seven icons – and their derrières. The famed “Crazy Girls” statue – featuring seven stunning dancers from the former Las Vegas Strip show “Crazy Girls” – made a showstopping entrance in Circa’s parking hub, Garage Mahal. This Friday, June 27, the piece will be placed in its new permanent home near the elevator entrance to Circa’s rooftop lounge, Legacy Club.
“The ‘Crazy Girls’ statue is as cheeky as it gets—literally,” said Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa Resort & Casino. “It’s a playful nod to the unapologetic fun and flair that built this city, and a lasting tribute to the performers who helped shape Las Vegas entertainment history. It captures the spirit of Las Vegas and we hope it brings good luck to all visitors who stop by to say hello to these beautiful ladies on their way to Legacy Club.”
The statue arrived in style via a tour down the Las Vegas Strip – complete with a limo and police motorcade escort. Placed on a flatbed truck, the statue kicked off at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign and cruised down Las Vegas Blvd., passing the site where the Riviera once stood before it closed in 2015.
The drive culminated at Garage Mahal, where eight members spanning across various shows – and some who were models in the original statue – stepped out of the limo to join the celebration. Along with Stevens and Circa’s COO Jeff Victor, “Crazy Girls’” producer Norbert Aleman helped commemorate the show’s storied history and bright future.
Originally inspired by the show’s cheeky “No Ifs, Ands or…” poster, the statue was sculpted by artist Michael Conine and installed at the Riviera in 1997 following the show’s breakout success. After Riviera’s closure and a move to Planet Hollywood shortly after, the statue was placed in storage in 2021. It will now welcome guests to Legacy Club before they ascend 60 floors high.
The “Crazy Girls” statue’s permanent homecoming will take place on Friday at 5 p.m. For more information, please visit circalasvegas.com.
