LUKE DAY 2025 SERVES UP PICKLEBALL, COMMUNITY, AND COMPASSION IN HENDERSON
June 12 Event at Chicken N Pickle to Benefit Canine Companions for Independence

NextHome People First invites the community to celebrate Luke Day 2025, an evening of fun, philanthropy, and friendly competition taking place Wednesday, June 12 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Chicken N Pickle in Henderson. Sponsored by NextHome People First and hosted by local real estate professional Beau McDougall, the event brings neighbors together in honor of Luke, the beloved French Bulldog mascot of NextHome, whose birthday-inspired celebration has become a national tradition of giving back.

Luke Day is NextHome’s annual day of community outreach, honoring the values that Luke represents — loyalty, friendliness, and the spirit of home. Held around June 15 each year, Luke Day emphasizes service, charity, and the strength of local communities.

This year’s event in Henderson will benefit Canine Companions for Independence, a nonprofit that has been providing expertly trained service dogs to children, adults, and veterans with disabilities since 1975 — completely free of charge. All donations from Luke Day will go directly to supporting Canine Companions’ mission to enhance independence through canine assistance.

Attendees can look forward to a lively evening of pickleball matches, games, raffles, food and drinks. The first drink is on the house, and guests of all skill levels are welcome — whether you’re a seasoned pickleball player or just there for the camaraderie and cause.
