A Legend of Handcrafted Chocolates
Inspired by the kitchen of Ethel Mars, whose recipes date back to 1910, Forrest Mars Sr. created Ethel M Chocolates in his mother’s honor. Using her timeless recipes, Forrest’s vision of sharing fresh-crafted, small-batch, premium chocolates was born. Today, Ethel M Chocolates® are still made in small batches with no preservatives, using only the freshest and finest ingredients. The Henderson factory is powered by more than 2,000 solar panels, meaning their springtime treats are made with solar energy before shopped on coolers and ice for peak freshness.

“Each of our handcrafted pieces of chocolate tells a story,” said Oren Young, general manager of Ethel M Chocolates®. “From our signature, year-round classic pieces that began as recipes in Ethel Mars’ kitchen more than a century ago, to our seasonal and new flavors created by our chief chocolatier, we are dedicated to making the best chocolates possible. While flavors may change, our commitment to using only the freshest ingredients is steadfast.”

The spring collection is available now at all Ethel M Chocolates® retail locations and online at www.EthelM.com/spring and amazon.com. Ethel M Chocolates’® flagship store, factory and cactus garden are located at 2 Cactus Garden Drive, Henderson, Nevada, and retail shops can be found in Las Vegas in the California Hotel & Casino at Gate C in Terminal 1 and Gates D & E in Terminal 3 at McCarran International Airport and at the brand-new kiosk at the Glendale Galleria in Glendale, California.

THE JUICE STANDARD CELEBRATES ITS 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY EXPANDS THEIR MENU BEYOND PRESSED JUICES

THE JUICE STANDARD CELEBRATES ITS 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
EXPANDS THEIR MENU BEYOND
PRESSED JUICES
Las Vegas’ First Cold Pressed Juice Bar Brings an Array of Smoothie Bowls and
Signature Juice Fasts to Las Vegas and Henderson

Through an array of innovative, flavorful and healthy smoothie blends combined with a few drops of pizzazz, the Juice Standard (TJS) has been setting the standard for healthy convenience in Las Vegas since its opening in March 2014. With 4 Las Vegas valley locations and #5 on the way, the already popular juice company is a favorite for locals looking for organic, raw pressed juices, smoothies, espresso, salads, wraps and healthy snacks as well as The Juice Standard’s innovative juice fast. TJS fans now have something new to be excited about with the launch of their smoothie bowl line.

The Superfood smoothie bowls include flavor profiles guaranteed to leave you feeling full and full of nostalgic memories of grandma’s apple crumble or cherry pie. Their “Cold Cherry overKnight oats bowl” includes a mix of cherries, yogurt, cashews, cinnamon and collagen (known for its joint health benefits) poured on top of overKnight oats. Cherries have been proven to lower uric acid in the body which can help offset the symptoms of gout; The Apple Pie bowl has a flavors of granny smith apples, cinnamon, vanilla, comes with a house made granola and a date caramel drizzle. They were even able to hide spinach in it for added plant based protein and vitamin C to help boost the immune system(shh don’t worry we won’t tell the kiddos); Their “Kid N Play” smoothie bowl which is just that- a playful smoothie bowl that will remind you of the fruity pebbles we devoured as kids but this time it will be loaded with organic fruits like pineapple, strawberries and blueberries proven to be a great source with antioxidants and fiber. The “Red Ru-BEE” bowl-vibrant like it’s gemstone cousin, is a beautiful blend of Cherries, ginger, lemon and pineapple topped with banana chips, is light and refreshing with an earthy undertone. The “Enlighten-Mint” bowl is light and refreshing with mojito resemblances- a perfect balance of coconut water, mint and ginger and is a superfood powerhouse thanks to the microgreens that pack a 1-2 punch of nutrition (microgreens are shown to have up to 10 times the amount nutrients as their full grown counterparts).’

Health conscience juicers can take advantage of the “Standard Fast,” consisting of six 16-ounce bottles of cold-pressed, organic juice, priced at $60 per day. Each juice is numbered so the consumer knows exactly which order to drink them in, providing juicers with simple and effective guidance to ensure maximum satisfaction. Their hand holding staff is always available to guide guests on the path to customize to their needs.

As part of the Standard Fast, recipients receive a daily supply of two Bee WHealthy juices for overall health management; two Bee Energized juice to increase energy; one Bee Magnificent nut milk to provide magnesium, support heart health and can prevent disease; and a choice between Bee Pure, an apple-sweetened lemonade rich in B-vitamins, or Bee Vibrant, a spicy lemonade containing cayenne pepper to increase energy and speed the metabolism for a refreshing feeling. Low glycemic fasts and custom fasts are also available to suit dietary needs.

Healthy foods hit home for Goguen and Williams, which drives them to bring their passion for fighting disease through a healthy diet and juice fasts to the Las Vegas community. For Goguen, juicing became a part of her family’s everyday life when her stepfather was diagnosed with advanced colorectal cancer and given just months to live. Her family then started juicing as a part of their daily routines, noticing a dramatic positive impact on her stepfather’s health.

Williams developed the same interest in juicing and healthy eating after living in Greece half a year and falling in love with the seasonal, fresh produce offered at the local farmer’s market. Williams has successfully put her family on the road to a healthy lifestyle, eliminating processed meats and soda and adding cold pressed juice and smoothies into the everyday routine.
