PINKBOX DOUGHNUTS® OPENS FIRST DRIVE-THRU LOCATION IN LAS VEGAS

The local-favorite opens its first drive-thru, debuts the Pinkbox food truck, and launches premium roast coffee line

The highly anticipated fourth location of Pinkbox Doughnuts® opened its doors to guests for the first time on Saturday, April 10. The “Best Doughnuts” winner from the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” Awards also debuted its first-ever food truck, as well as a new premium roast coffee and espresso program, to celebrate the unforgettable grand opening.

Nestled on the corner of Sunset and Annie Oakley in Las Vegas, the new drive-thru location celebrated its long-awaited opening with a festive, indoor-outdoor block party featuring a variety of family friendly activities perfect for the entire neighborhood. Thousands of people from the community showed up starting at 5 a.m. In addition to live music from the talented and extremely adorable DJ Sadako, guests reveled in the carnival-like activities that surrounded the parking lot, from an Instagrammable photo booth with appearances by the store’s playful mascot, PINKY®, to airbrush tattoos, balloon twisters and more. Stationed at one end of the parking lot, the first-ever Pinkbox food truck also made its splashy debut, welcoming guests to its window for a free, limited-edition T-shirt, which was handed out to the first 100 people.

The main highlights included an epic doughnut eating contest, where seven Pinkbox fans competed for the chance to win a $250 Pinkbox gift card. Emceed by beloved Las Vegas personality and professional food competitor, Heavy D, the contest drew endless laughter and amusement before finally concluding with a single winner, Magic Mitch, who ate all of his doughnuts in under three minutes. Outside of the competition, three lucky attendees were also gifted free doughnuts for a year after biting into a special doughnut with a lucky pink ticket.

“At Pinkbox, our goal is to bring excitement and smiles to our customers with every bite,” said Judith Siegel, owner of Pinkbox Doughnuts. “Not only does this new location offer customers a new way to enjoy Pinkbox with a drive-thru, but it also features a state-of-the-art production facility that will allow us to create thousands of doughnuts per hour to keep up with our high demand.”

For customers who couldn’t make it to the event, the store is now open 24 hours daily. Expect to leave your inhibitions at the door as the team of world-class bakers transports you to the most fanciful of doughnut shops. Embracing Pinkbox’s same whimsical design and pink exterior—with more magic and fun than ever before—the new location takes the Pinkbox experience to new levels, featuring décor as vibrant as the flavors, with pink tiled ceilings, pink striped floors, and walls adorned with icing drips.

All 70+ flavors from the rotating, one-of-a-kind menu are available for guests to order in store and via the drive-thru. The menu features doughnut shop classics like apple fritters and old-fashioned doughnuts; over-the-top creations such as the Unicorn, Pooh® and PINKY®; DoughCros®, which are doughnuts made with a light and flaky croissant dough; Banana Puddin’, the April doughnut of the month, and other all-time favorites.

With its new coffee line featuring premium roast drip coffee and espresso; fun, eye-catching upgrades and much more, Pinkbox is officially your favorite, one-stop-shop for all things doughnuts and coffee. The signature line includes hot and iced selections, including flavored lattes and cappuccinos, americanos, mochas and white chocolate mochas, flavored cold brews, hot chocolate and iced hot chocolate. Pinkbox also launched the never-seen-before “Pinky Style” to its coffee program. Customers can order any hot or cold drink “Pinky Style”, which adds pink whip, sprinkles, and one of Pinkbox’s PEE WEEZ® to the top of the beverage.

There are currently three other Pinkbox locations in Las Vegas, each open 24 hours daily. Pinkbox Sunset will feature the brand’s first-ever commissary, which can produce thousands of doughnuts per hour to keep up with demand for the most sought-after doughnuts in town. Pinkbox will continue their expansion with many more locations slated to open this year.

Always with the customer and staff in mind, Pinkbox Doughnuts remains committed to strict safety and hygiene measures approved by state mandates, the CDC and local health departments.
