THE COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS’ ICONIC ROOFTOP ICE RINK RETURNS FOR ITS ELEVENTH HOLIDAY SEASON, NOV. 15
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is thrilled to announce the return of its beloved Ice Rink for the eleventh year, open to the public daily starting Tuesday, Nov. 15 through Monday, Jan. 2, 2023. The Boulevard Pool will once again transform into the only rooftop winter wonderland overlooking the Las Vegas Strip featuring a 4,200-square-foot rink made of real ice, and the return of The Chalet, a holiday village with open-air fire pits perfect for cocktails and s’mores making while classic holiday films display above the rink on the resort’s 65-foot marquee. Back by popular demand, the Ice Rink’s famed Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony returns this year hosted by Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders.
New this season, Overlook Grill will transform into Overlook Chill, a rink-side café featuring traditional holiday bites, with unique twists on comfort food classics. Guests can also expect festive new additions to the Ice Rink’s cocktail menu, expertly reimagined this season by resort mixologist, Andrew Pollard, featuring elevated takes on lively holiday libations.

Christmas Tree Lighting with Josh Jacobs
Wednesday, Dec. 7 | 6 – 8 p.m.
The Ice Rink’s annual Christmas Tree lighting returns to kick off the holiday season with special guest Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders. Football fans, locals and guests alike are invited to join in on the family-friendly event featuring an autograph signing, photo, and meet & greet opportunities.
Marquee Night Circus
Sundays Nov. 20 & 27, Dec. 4, 11 & 18 | 8 – 11 p.m.
Marquee Nightclub takes over the Ice Rink with its iconic Night Circus themed party on select Sundays this winter with surprise appearances by over-the-top carnival characters, Instagram-worthy photo moments and performances by Tao Group’s hottest DJs. Attendees 21 and over will receive complimentary admission to Night Circus Sundays at Marquee Nightclub (with purchase of skate rental at the Ice Rink).
Tao Group Hospitality Cares
Sunday, Dec. 4
In the spirit of the giving season, Tao Group Hospitality Cares will host its annual skating event benefitting a local non-profit organization. Additional details to-be-announced HERE soon.
Benny the Ice Skating Dog & Photos with Santa
Thursday, Dec. 1 | 6 – 8 p.m.
Benny the Labrador was rescued from a shelter and has since transformed into a national ice-skating sensation, immediately taking to the ice after his rescuer fashioned him a custom pair of ice skates. With over 100 tricks in his repertoire, Benny returns to The Cosmopolitan’s Ice Rink to show off some new skating skills.
For every skate rental purchased during the event, $2 will be donated to the NSPCA.
New Year’s Eve 2022 – Firework Viewing Party

Overlook Chill
The Cosmopolitan’s mainstay brunch spot, Overlook Grill, will transform into Overlook Chill for the first time ever this holiday season. A rink-side café located under the twinkling lights of the dazzling Las Vegas skyline and the occasional snow shower, Overlook Chill will feature classic comfort food with a sophisticated twist. Menu highlights include: Chicken Pot Pie Biscuits ($18) with slow-cooked chicken, vegetable gravy and buttermilk biscuits; Beef Brisket Chili ($18) with chipotle sour cream, diced onion, fresh jalapeño and crumbled Fritos; Roast Turkey French Dip ($18) with cranberry sauce, traditional stuffing and turkey jus; and holiday desserts perfect for sharing, featuring Gingerbread Man Cookies ($20) with assorted frostings and sprinkles to decorate tableside and Campfire S’mores ($14) kits for two.
The Chalet
Returning for its second season, The Chalet is an exclusive, elevated holiday experience unlike any other. Featuring festive décor, an oversized communal fire pit, handcrafted cocktails and lite holiday bites, guests can immerse themselves in a luxurious, holiday experience high above the Las Vegas Strip. Upholding tradition, the resort’s mixologist, Andrew Pollard has reimagined the Ice Rink’s iconic cocktail menu with elevated twists on holiday classics. The 2022 Ice Rink featured cocktails include: Champagne on Ice featuring Moët Ice Impérial Champagne, Belvedere blackberry & lemongrass vodka, St. Germain elderflower liqueur and blue raspberry; Mele Kalikimaka an adult twist on the fan-favorite Dole Whip featuring Mr. Gay Black Barrel Rum, Cointreau, fresh lime, peppermint-infused orgeat and Dole Whip; Partridge in a Pear Tree featuring Patron silver tequila, St. George spiced pear, fresh lime, prickly pear & pomegranate nectar and toasted rosemary; Hot (Not Hot) Chocolate Mule made with Don Julio Reposado tequila, Ancho Reyes Chile liqueur, cacao, mole bitters and ginger beer; and much more.

All day skating access is $30. Monday through Thursday, all day skating access for Nevada residents, military and first responders with a valid ID is $20. Skate aid seals and reindeers are available for $15 an hour. Admission to the dazzling winter wonderland atmosphere surrounding The Ice Rink is complimentary. The Ice Rink welcomes guests ages two and up. Minors must have a liability waiver signed and be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21.
