Las Vegas Plastic Surgeons Merge Practices to Create Anson, Edwards & Higgins Plastic Surgery Associates

Three of Las Vegas’ top board certified plastic surgeons, Dr. Goesel Anson, Dr. Michael C. Edwards, and Dr. Terry Higgins are joining forces to create a world class multi-specialty center of excellence in aesthetic plastic surgery, Anson, Edwards & Higgins Plastic Surgery Associates (PSA).
The new partnership brings together the respected practices of Anson & Higgins and Dr. Michael C. Edwards’ long-standing Summerlin-based office, to provide patients a complete range of state-of-the-art surgical and non-surgical procedures while allowing each doctor to focus on a specific expertise. The result will be a true comprehensive care approach to treatment where patient experience, safety and satisfaction come first.
Anson, Edwards & Higgins PSA will consist of a specialized team committed to personalized care. Patients will enjoy the on-site convenience of a board certified dermatologist, four medical aestheticians, two registered nurse injectors and a staff of patient coordinators to help guide the patient process. Patients can also rely on board certified anesthesiologists during their surgical care.

The current office of Anson & Higgins PSA, located at 8530 W. Sunset Road, Suite 130, Las Vegas, 89113 is undergoing an expansion in preparation for the merger.
About the Principals:
Dr. Goesel Anson originally opened her Las Vegas practice in 1997, which has grown into the very successful practice of Anson & Higgins Plastic Surgery Associates. Anson & Higgins ranks among the top 1% of practices in the country for its volume of Botox® and Juvéderm®. Dr. Anson is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois School of Medicine in Chicago, where she completed her general surgery residency. Her plastic and reconstructive surgery residency was completed at New York University, followed by a fellowship in microsurgery at NYU. Dr. Anson has been recognized numerous times as “Top Doctor” by Castle Connelly, Las Vegas Life, Vegas Seven, and Desert Companion. She is also the inventor of JuveRest®, a patented pillow designed to help reduce sleep wrinkles. JuveRest has been featured on QVC and several national news outlets including ABC News, Extra and Self.com. Although trained in all aspects of plastic surgery, Dr. Anson limits her practice to aesthetic surgery of the face.
Dr. Michael C. Edwards began his practice in Las Vegas in 1996 and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He earned his medical degree at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences’ F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland. After serving 19 years in the United States Air Force as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Edwards opened his private practice in Summerlin in the fall of 2003. Dr. Edwards has built a thriving aesthetic practice seeing patients from all over the world and lecturing on breast surgery nationally and internationally. He is president-elect of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and president-elect of the Clark County Medical Society. Named “Top Doctor” by Castle Connolly, Las Vegas Life, Vegas Seven, Dr. Edwards is also the recipient of many Patient Choice Awards. Dr. Edwards’ specialty is breast augmentation and breast revision.
Dr. Terry Higgins returned to his hometown of Las Vegas in 2002 and joined Dr. Goesel Anson building Anson & Higgins Plastic Surgery Associates into one of the premier plastic surgery practices in the United States. Anson & Higgins has been recognized as a “Top 50 Practice” in the United States for its volume of Botox® and Juvéderm®. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas and completed his residency in plastic surgery at Michigan State. He furthered his training as a fellow at the renowned Cleveland Clinic in Ohio where he continued to perfect his skills. Dr. Higgins is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has been repeatedly recognized for his excellence in his field, named “Top Doctor” by Las Vegas Life, Vegas Seven, Desert Companion, Summerlin Magazine, and Physicians of the World Organization. He has also been named as one of Las Vegas’ “Most Compassionate Doctors.” Dr. Higgins specializes in both aesthetic surgery of the face and body.
