The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower will honor Mexican Independence Day with vibrant drink specials and bold bites throughout September at several restaurants and lounges across the casino resort.
From Tuesday, Sept. 2 through Tuesday, Sept. 30, PT’s Wings & Sports and View Lounge will feature specially-priced sips and a featured selection of dishes. Beers and beverages will include Pacifico and Modelo drafts, priced at $7; Don Julio Blanco Tequila shots, priced at $8; Don Julio 1942 Tequila shots, priced at $15; and handcrafted Don Julio Blanco Tequila cocktails, priced at $10. A flavorful lineup of dishes featuring slow-cooked birria will be available, including classic birria nachos, made with chipotle cheese sauce, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, jalapeños, pepper jack cheese and drunken black beans, priced at $24; quesa-birria, filled with pepper jack cheese, pickled vegetables, onion and cilantro in a flour tortilla and served with traditional consommé, priced at $20; and birria cheese fries, with chipotle cheese sauce, Gruyère cheese, pico de gallo and pickled red onions, priced at $15.
Swim & Social will dive into the celebration with limited-time offerings available Saturday, Sept. 13 and Sunday, Sept. 14. Featured selections will include the Carne Asada Volcan, a crispy corn tortilla with carne asada, Oaxacan and pepper jack cheeses, guacamole and lime, priced at $17, with the option to add shrimp or chorizo for an additional $3; beer buckets with Pacifico Clara, Modelo Especial and Corona Extra, priced at $30; frozen margaritas crafted with Casamigos Blanco Tequila, Cointreau orange liqueur, lemon and lime, priced at $10; and beer and shot combinations featuring Pacifico Clara, Modelo Especial or Corona Extra paired with Casamigos Blanco or Reposado Tequila, priced at $15.
