Also, less than 500 tickets remain for the San Diego State game on Feb. 16. Both games tip at 6 p.m., with tickets starting at $25 if purchased in advance.

As of Tuesday morning, less than 1,300 tickets remained available to the public for this Saturday’s UNLV men’s basketball game at the Thomas & Mack Center vs. No. 15/16 New Mexico. The Lobos, who are in first place in the Mountain West, topped the Runnin’ Rebels at The Pit last month in a game that came down to the last minute.

Also, less than 500 tickets remain available to the public for the Saturday, Feb. 16, Runnin’ Rebel game at the Thomas & Mack Center vs. No. RV/25 San Diego State. The Aztecs will be trying to pay UNLV back for beating SDSU at Viejas Arena last month in another game that came down to the final minute of play.

Tip-off for both games is 6 p.m. Tickets start at $25 if purchased in advance and are available by visiting UNLVTickets.com, calling (702) 739-FANS or at the Thomas & Mack Center Box Office.

Student tickets are expected to sellout for both games as well and students are advised to claim tickets early.

UNLV sold out its home games last year (18,577) vs. New Mexico, Wyoming and San Diego State – marking the second consecutive regular-season game vs. the Aztecs that sold out the Thomas & Mack Center.

Just four days after facing the Aztecs, the Runnin’ Rebels will host second-place Colorado State on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m. Tickets to the CSU game are available.

Last season UNLV fans filled the Thomas & Mack Center at the highest levels since Jerry Tarkanian’s final year as head coach in 1991-92, as the attendance average of 14,474 fans per game ranked 17th in the country (fourth straight year in the top 25) and No. 1 on the West Coast. The Runnin’ Rebels’ season-opening crowd of 18,187 this year vs. Northern Arizona was a school record for attendance for a season home opener. This season’s average attendance has been 15,223 so far through 13 games at the TMC.
