UNLV MEN’S BASKETBALL NEWS: Runnin’ Rebels Host Colorado State Wednesday At 8 PM

UNLV men’s basketball team looks to even season series with Rams

After a heartbreaking loss at Boise State (91-90) in overtime on Saturday, the UNLV men’s basketball team will look to bounce back as it hosts Colorado State on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 8:05 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center. Deville Smith made what appeared to be the game-winning shot at Boise State – a 3-pointer as time expired in overtime – but after an officials review, it was determined the ball was still on his finger tips as the clock hit 0.0.

This will be the second meeting in the regular season this year between the Runnin’ Rebels and Rams. CSU won the first meeting, 75-57, on Feb. 5 in Fort Collins, Colo. UNLV is in a three-way tie for third place in the Mountain West at 8-6, while Colorado State is alone in eighth place at 6-9.

Wednesday’s game against the Rams will be televised by CBS Sports Network with Rich Waltz and Doug Gottlieb calling the action, and Kristine Leahy on the sidelines. Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the radio call, which may be heard on ESPN Radio 1100/98.9 FM. The radio broadcast listen link along with Gametracker are available at
