Rebels comes into the game following a shutout against Air Force

UNLV men’s soccer is looking for its first win of the season but will face a tough challenge as the Rebels will face the preseason favorite Seattle Redhawks team on the road in a Saturday afternoon contest at 4 pm.
The Rebels have played two contrasting games to start the season. In the season opener, UNLV rushed out with two quick goals, but would give up three unanswered, two in the second half to fall 3-2 to Incarnate Word. In the next game, UNLV not only posted a 20-11 shot advantage, it held the Air Force Falcons, predicted to finish third in the standings, scoreless in a 0-0 double-overtime tie. The Rebels hope to again play at that defensive level when they face a Seattle team that already has one WAC loss on the season and is 2-1 for the year thus far.
