The UNLV women’s basketball team will play its lone exhibition of the preseason on Monday, Nov. 9, when it hosts Alaska Anchorage at 7 pm in the Cox Pavilion. UNLV has been picked to finish fifth in the Mountain West this season, while the Seawolves are ranked seventh in the Division II preseason top-25 rankings.

The UNLV women’s basketball team will play its lone exhibition of the preseason on Monday, Nov. 9, when it hosts Alaska Anchorage at 7 pm in the Cox Pavilion. UNLV has been picked to finish fifth in the Mountain West this season, while the Seawolves are ranked seventh in the Division II preseason top-25 rankings.
The Lady Rebels, under eighth-year head coach Kathy Olivier, bring back three starters from a year ago, including senior center Aley Rohde and sophomore guard Nikki Wheatley, an All-Freshman Mountain West selection a year ago. The Gonzalez twins, Dakota and Dylan, are also eligible this season after sitting out a year following a transfer from Kansas. The Lady Rebels also feature a three-player freshman class.
The regular season opener will be on Saturday, Nov. 14, against Southern Utah at 3 pm in the Thomas & Mack Center. Tickets are $8 for adults, and $5 if bought online at UNLVTickets.
