Five Card Camaro Clash – JUST ADDED
Beginning on Tuesday, May 1, South Point poker players can qualify for the Five Card Camaro Clash for the chance to win a 2018 Chevy Camaro. Throughout May, participants will have the opportunity to qualify in two ways for the chance to win. Players participating will receive two tickets for every ten hours of play in May and can also earn tickets by making a flush or better in qualifying games. On Saturday, June 9 from 12 to 9 p.m. there will be hourly drawings to choose the ten finalists to compete in a five-card showdown to determine the winner of the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro. Hit It Quick – JUST ADDED
For the month of May, guests will have three sessions per day to compete for making the first High Hand of the Hit It Quick session. Windows for each session will run from 7 to 11:59 a.m., 12 to 4:59 p.m., and 5 to 9:59 p.m. The potential amounts won will count down from $599 the first hour, to $500 the second hour, $400 the third hour, $300 the fourth hour and $200 the last hour of each session. The first High Hand with quads or better will qualify for the bonus payout.
Fully Loaded Flushes – JUST ADDED
The Fully Loaded Flush consists of a daily progressive jackpot that will pay out when a player makes a seven-card flush of a particular suit in Texas Hold’em or Seven Card Stud. There will be four separate jackpots for each card suit that will start at $500. Each one will increase by $50 each day that the jackpot is not hit, the increase will take place daily at 9 a.m.
High Hands – JUST ADDED
South Point Poker Room will double the payout for players with high hands during a 4-8 Limit Hold’em game or higher; 2-5 No-Limted Hold’em game and higher; or an 8-16 Seven Card Stud game and higher. High Hands are now available to be hit in all seven card stud games.
Kentucky Derby Handicapping Seminar – Friday, May 4 – JUST ADDED
The South Point Race Book will offer a Kentucky Derby Handicapping Seminar for racing fans on Friday, May 4 from 6 to 7 p.m. The seminar gives horse racing enthusiasts a chance to preview competing horses and learn complete racing histories from host and expert handicapper Patrick McQuiggan. This event is free and open to the public.
Kentucky Derby Viewing Party – Saturday, May 5 – JUST ADDED
The South Point Grand Ballroom will host an official viewing party for the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 5 with doors opening at 9 a.m. Horse racing fans can take advantage of various food specials and receive complimentary drink tickets by placing bets at designated wagering stations located throughout the ballroom. Racing enthusiasts have the opportunity to learn handicapping tips and tricks from hosts Patrick McQuiggan, Ralph Siraco and Toby Turrell. This event is free and open to the public.
$32,000 Memorial Day Hot Seat Giveaway – Monday, May 28 – JUST ADDED
On Memorial Day (Monday, May 28), South Point will host the $32,000 Memorial Day Hot Seat Giveaway from 8 a.m. to midnight for any slot club player. Throughout the day, 320 winners will be randomly awarded $100 in Free Slot Play, with 20 winners chosen each hour.
$500,000 Swipe, Spin ‘N Win – JUST ADDED
Beginning Monday, April 30 through Thursday, May 24, South Point Casino hosts a $500,000 Swipe, Spin ‘N Win every Monday through Thursday. Casino club card holders who earn 300 same day base slot points on any slot or video poker machine between 3 a.m. and 11 p.m. are eligible to swipe and spin the wheel on the designated kiosk for a chance to go home with special prizes. Prizes include $50 free play, $25 free play, $25 resort gift card, 5,000 bonus points, $2,500 bonus points, a complimentary lunch buffet and more.
No-Limit Texas Hold’em Daily “BOUNTY” Tournament
South Point Casino hosts daily No-Limit Texas Hold’em “BOUNTY” tournaments at 10 a.m. Casino players will have the opportunity to participate in each “BOUNTY” tournament for a $50 buy-in that includes $7,500 in tournament chips. In addition, $5 Bounties will be paid out for each player you knock out. Unlimited re-entry until the first break.
No-Limit Hold’em Tournament Assortment
South Point Casino will host daily No-Limit Texas Hold’em tournaments at 2 p.m. including, Micro No-Limit Hold’em, Big Bounty, Double Stack, Stamina and Survivor.
- Monday and Wednesday: South Point Poker players can participate in a Micro No-Limit Hold’em tournament for a $20 buy-in, which will give players $2,000 in tournament chips. Players can also receive an additional $2,000 in tournament chips for a $20 add-on when players’ chip count is below $5,000. Unlimited re-entry until the end of the first break.
- Tuesday and Thursday: South Point Casino will host a No-Limit Texas Hold’em Big Bounty Tournament for a $50 buy-in, which will give players $7,500 in tournament chips. In addition, $30 Bounties will be paid out for each player you knock out. An additional $5 will go to the first-place player of each entry.
- Friday: South Point Casino will host a No-Limit Texas Hold’em Double Stack Tournament for a $50 buy-in for two (2) stacks of $5,000 in tournament chips. Players will start with one (1) stack of $5,000 and can use the second stack as they like.
- Saturday: South Point Poker players can participate in a No-Limit Hold’em Stamina Tournament, featuring 30-minute levels. Players can purchase a $125 Buy-in for $20,000 in tournament chips. The tournament will host 5-minute breaks between each level.
- Sunday: South Point Casino will host a No-Limit Hold’em Survivor Tournament where the top 10 percent of players will split the prize pool. Players can participate in the tournament for a $50 Buy-in.
No-Limit Texas Hold’em “DEEP-STACK” Tournament
South Point Casino features a No-Limit Texas Hold’em “DEEP-STACK” tournament every Wednesday and Sunday at 6 p.m. The tournament’s $100 buy-in includes $10,000 in tournament chips. Players can also receive an additional $5,000 in tournament chips for a $10 add-on. Unlimited re-entry until the end of the first break.
Prime Time Mondays
South Point Hotel hosts “Prime Time Mondays” for Casino Club Card holders age 50 and older. Prime Time Mondays offer a $5,000 Free Slot Tournament from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tournament’s first place winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize and additional places will be rewarded with free play. In addition, guests who pay with their points will receive half point dining all day at all restaurants (Primarily Prime Rib & Baja Miguel’s are closed on Monday) and half point bingo all day. Movies will also be offered at a discounted rate of just $4 all day (additional fee for 3D & XD). This promotion is not valid on holidays or during special bingo events.
