Vegas Baby Vodka to Honor Mother’s Day with Female-Owned Business Hours During Instagram Live Virtual Happy Hour
Vegas Baby Vodka co-founders, Jennifer Higgins and Megan Wilkes, will host the Las Vegas-founded spirits company’s weekly virtual happy hour at 5 p.m. PST on Wednesday, May 6. This week’s happy hour will highlight businesses owned by moms and cocktails including the Mamma Amour and Wicked Citrus Cooler, both made with Vegas Baby Vodka, available via Instagram Live at @VegasBabyVodka. In honor of Mother’s Day, participating moms will include Erica Droge with Dry Hills Distillery, Shannon McBeath with The Ride cycling studio, Lacy Schorr with TruFusion Fitness and Stephanie Wilson with Wicked Creative.
The duo will make cocktail recipes on Instagram incorporating ingredients many people have at home. They include the Mama Amour and Wicked Citrus Cooler. The recipes for each are as follows:
Mama Amour
1.5 oz VB vodka
1.5 oz St. Germaine liqueur
1.5 fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
Top with Prosecco
Combine all ingredients and shake over ice. Strain into a champagne flute and top with Prosecco.
Wicked Citrus Cooler
1 Valencia orange, juiced
1.5 ounces Vegas Baby Vodka
4 ounces Hansen’s Orange Soda
Serve on the rocks in a tall glass with a salt/tajin rim.
