VINTAGE-VEGAS ENTERTAINMENT RETURNS TO HISTORIC COMMERCIAL CENTER
WITH THE COMPOSERS ROOM SHOWLOUNGE & RESTAURANT
Pompey Entertainment’s Damian Costa and Nick Cordaro to Open New Venue in
Summer 2023
A brand-new venue is coming this summer to Historic Commercial Center: The Composers Room Showlounge & Restaurant. As the most recent project by Pompey Entertainment’s Damian Costa and Nick Cordaro, the venue will bring classic Las Vegas entertainment back in a big way. Offering a menu of memorable food and upscale cocktails, The Composers Room will present musical performances from today’s artists in an atmosphere that calls to mind the style and elegance of the past.
With comprehensive design and programming details to be revealed soon, Cordaro and Costa will ensure the next chapter of Historic Commercial Center’s story is Vegas-focused, lasting and memorable.
“The Composers Room was conceived in part as a tribute to my family’s start in Vegas show business,” said Costa. “Both of my grandfathers were involved in Las Vegas show business, and my paternal grandfather, Tony Costa, was a concert pianist and songwriter, as well as a conductor for famous shows such as ‘Jubilee!’ and ‘Gypsy’ on Broadway. He also served as the founding conductor of the Las Vegas Philharmonic Orchestra.”
Pompey Entertainment have already received enthusiastic support from across the Las Vegas entertainment community for their plans for the Historic Commercial Center location.
Historic Commercial Center serves as the focal point of the South of Sahara Avenue (SOSA) district, recently designated by Clark County as an area for redevelopment focused on the arts. The district is bound by Sahara Avenue, Maryland Parkway, Liberace/Karen Avenue and Joe W. Brown Drive.
