South Point Hotel & Casino is showing more love for local Las Vegas residents this summer with the launch of SouthPointLocals.com and a lineup of exclusive savings throughout the property.
As Las Vegas temperatures soar throughout July and August, locals can take refuge at South Point and save some cash for the air conditioning bill while enjoying offers on hotel stays, dining, cocktails, spa treatments, comedy shows, movies and more. South Point will kick off their summer of locals love with an exclusive offer for Junefest, featuring KC & The Sunshine Band, this Saturday, June 29 at the South Point Arena. Locals can purchase four Junefest tickets for $60, which is a $40 discount. Tickets must be purchased in person at the South Point box office and the offer is valid through Friday, June 28.
For guests looking to take a break from work without breaking the bank, SouthPointLocals.com will offer midweek (Monday through Thursday) hotel packages for $49 per night (code SPLOCAL), which includes the room rate and all associated charges, two complimentary drinks at the South Point pool and an upgrade to a view room. The staycation package can be complemented with the $99 Summer Spa-tacular at Costa del Sur, offering a Swedish massage plus the choice of a pumpkin pedicure, 25-minute facial or blow dry treatment. Once the room, spa treatments and entertainment are booked, locals can set their sights on South Point’s delicious lineup of restaurants, which will offer tempting deals throughout the summer. Zenshin from Chef Terence Fong features modern Asian cuisine and will showcase locals specials on Tuesday featuring a complimentary dessert with the purchase of two entrees. Enjoy a girl’s night out during Local Ladies Night on Thursday, featuring a 50 percent discount on all drinks for women with a local ID. Zenshin offers a daily happy hour special featuring a 50 percent discount on selected menu items, $5 martinis, $2 domestic beers and $2.50 import beers. Zenshin’s local’s specials will run during July and August and are not valid during the restaurant’s daily happy hour from 2 to 6 p.m.
Those locals looking to indulge with Italian cuisine can look to the $20 three-course special at Don Vito’s available Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 6:30 and 8:30 to 10 p.m. The deal gives locals the opportunity to select a choice of appetizer (Caesar salad, minestrone soup or pasta e fagioli), choice of entrée (fettuccine alfredo, spaghetti with meatballs or gnocchi), and choice of dessert (a scoop of sorbet or ice cream). At Primarily Prime Rib, locals can take advantage of a 50 percent discount on appetizers and specialty cocktails with the purchase of a dinner entrée every Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 p.m. to closing. Local wine lovers can enjoy a 50 percent discount on all wines at Silverado Steakhouse, excluding the restaurant’s Wine of the Month and wines priced more than $100, every Monday through Thursday.
Additional locals dining specials will include a buy-one-get-one-free offer on glasses of wine or draft beer with the purchase of any food item at Big Sur Oyster Bar Monday through Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.; an extended lunch special happy hour at Baja Miguel’s Monday through Thursday from 5 to 6:30 p.m.; and a $15 mid-afternoon meal special at Coronado Café, featuring an appetizer (choice of potato skins, mozzarella cheese sticks, chili cheese fries or chicken fingers) and two entrées (choice of Chinese chicken salad, BLT sandwich, chicken or egg salad sandwich, Coronado burger, spaghetti with meat sauce, Southwest turkey wrap or beef stroganoff) Monday through Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. Coffee fanatics can visit Seattle’s Best inside South Point for a daily 50 percent discount on all cold beverages from 4 p.m. to closing, and with their cold beverage purchase, they will earn a coupon valid for a 15 percent discount on any drink purchased during a return visit between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Local movie fans will also benefit on SouthPointLocals.com with a printable coupon offering a free small popcorn with the purchase of any drink at the South Point Century 16 movie theater concession stand. The coupon must be printed prior to purchase to be valid. Beginning Tuesday, July 9, all movie-goers can enjoy their favorite movies for $5, excluding XD, 3D and special event charges, every Tuesday.
