UNLV WOMEN’S BASKETBALL LOOKS FOR SEASON SWEEP OF UTAH STATE
Lady Rebels host Aggies on Saturday on National Girls and Women In Sport Day
The UNLV women’s basketball team contest on Saturday against Utah State is also National Girls and Women in Sport Day at UNLV, with a free pre-game clinic to be held for kids in grades 2-8 from 1:30-3:30 pm, prior to the 4 pm contest between the Lady Rebels and Aggies in the Cox Pavilion. UNLV is also for its first sweep of the season after winning the first meeting with the Aggies by a 73-67 score in Logan, Utah, despite having four players foul out during the game. All-time UNLV is 10-0 against the Aggies in Las Vegas, though the first nine meetings were between 1975 and 1986. The 10th meeting came in the 2008-09 season, which was a 65-47 victory by UNLV in the Cox Pavilion.
