Multi-platinum Rock Headliners, Avenged Sevenfold, Performs Live for the First Time in Five

On Friday, May 12, famed multi-platinum rock headliners Avenged Sevenfold played their first concert in more than five years at AREA15, the immersive art and entertainment district located minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. The surprise performance was announced live on the radio on Thursday, May 11 and sold out just hours after the news hit the airwaves. Avenged Sevenfold played for a crowd of 3,000 in AREA15’s A-Lot and included notable guests such as band members from KoRn, Mudvayne, Machine Head, Bad Wolves, Lacuna Coil, Papa Roach, Escape the Fate, Orgy and Coal Chamber, professional wrestler Matt Hardy and more.
“This was an unforgettable night, not only for the fans of Avenged Sevenfold, but also for AREA15,” said Noah Kessler, head of entertainment, AREA15. “This is exactly the type of experience we love to put out. From May 11 to 14, in The Wall and The Portal at AREA15, Avenged Sevenfold also hosted an exclusive 360-degree immersive album experience for the band’s first album in more than seven years titled “Life Is But a Dream…” three weeks ahead of its highly anticipated release on June 2. The experience included a curated merch pop-up shop, mesmeric visuals and the multi-platinum headliner’s 11 new songs. The Avenged Sevenfold merch shop joined other recent band pop-up experiences at AREA15, including Maroon 5 and BTS.
