Larger-Than-Life Pastry Display Features Over 800 Pounds of White Chocolate, Fondant and more
ARIA Resort & Casino brings a new “high tea” experience to the resort this fall with the exquisite Spill the Tea chocolate display. The culinary masterpiece, featured at ARIA Patisserie, includes large floating teapot fountains, stacked teacups and decadent tiered cakes. Developed by Executive Pastry Chef Mathieu Lavallee and the ARIA Pastry team, the creation was made with 550 pounds of white chocolate, 90 pounds of Oreo cookies and 165 pounds of fondant. From the initial creative vision through final installation, it took eight pastry team members 240 hours to complete.
“ARIA Patisserie is known for creating masterful pieces of edible art to celebrate any occasion,” said ARIA Executive Pastry Chef Mathieu Lavallee. “This fall we wanted our guests to start the holiday season surrounded by nostalgic items that provide a warm and cozy feeling. We look forward to seeing their reaction with the hope that it brings a joyful smile to their day.”
