LAS VEGAS – September 21, 2023 – Lorena Peril, award-winning Las Vegas entertainer and headliner of FANTASY: The Strip’s Sexiest Tease, will debut and star in “Housekeeper to Headliner,” an original show at Myron’s in The Smith Center at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1. Written by Peril, “Housekeeper to Headliner” will take audiences through her experiences from San Francisco to the Las Vegas stage and beyond. A musical adaptation of a real-life fairytale, audiences will get an inside look at Peril’s journey — from her life as a housekeeper to being discovered while on vacation to becoming a celebrated singer, performer and entertainer on the Las Vegas Strip.
A San Francisco native and first generation Mexican American, Peril began her career by performing at local clubs and festivals as a teenager. However, it was a vacation on a Carnival Cruise Line that changed Peril’s destiny and life forever. After participating in the guest talent show, she was offered a contract for the role of lead vocalist in Carnival Cruise Line’s nightly shows. Peril first joined FANTASY in 2010 and has been entertaining audiences on the Las Vegas Strip since 2005. Her credits include Michael Chambers’ “Sin City Bad Girls” at the Las Vegas Hilton, “American Superstars” at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower and David Saxe’s “Vegas! The Show” at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Peril has shared the stage with notable stars, including Barry Manilow, Barbra Streisand, Terry Bradshaw and Dee Snider.
Peril, who has been awarded “Best Entertainer” by the 2021 Silver State Awards and “Outstanding Female Entertainer” by the 2018 Las Vegas Fame Awards, delivers brilliant comic timing and vocal prowess as the headliner of FANTASY. The dazzling production remains at the top, featuring an unrivaled cast, the latest music and new numbers. The show is currently nominated as “Best Female Revue” for its fifth consecutive year by the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” awards and has been awarded “All-Time Best Female Revue” by Las Vegas Weekly.
In addition to her performances in the tantalizing revue six nights per week, Peril’s breathtaking National Anthem performances have captivated the hearts of many, including fans at home games for professional sports teams and events in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. She also donates her time and talents to charitable events around the Las Vegas Valley and in Nevada, supporting worthy organizations like Opportunity Village and the Nevada Donor Network.
In 2011, Peril released three singles, cementing her status as an international recording artist. Her songs include “Dance on Me,” “Soulja,” “Melody” and “Hate Stand Aside.” In 2013, Peril starred as Sandy in the European tour of “Grease: The Arena Spectacular.”
