Hospitality leader has introduced a first-of-its-kind oasis experience,
marking a new era of luxury leisure in Southwest Las Vegas

The much-anticipated Bel-Aire Backyard at Durango Casino & Resort is now open daily from 9 a.m. to sunset, ushering in a new era of luxury leisure in Southwest Las Vegas, about 15 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Spanning the opulent pool deck next to hot new cocktail bar, Bel-Aire Lounge, and just steps away from the hotel’s main porte cochere, the chic escape is the first of its kind in Las Vegas’ hottest neighborhood.

Nestled among an enchanting landscape of towering palm trees and lush greenery, Bel-Aire Backyard beckons locals and visitors to immerse themselves in the epitome of poolside opulence. Spanning more than 65,000 square feet, Bel-Aire Backyard boasts a sprawling deck that unfolds like a grand stage, a shimmering 7,200-square-foot pool with a central fountain, relaxing Baja ledge, and two adjacent poolside bars alongside 8,600 square feet of curated event and lawn space. The pool area features three large cabanas, each a sanctuary that can accommodate up to 12 guests, and a nearby oversized hot tub. 10 additional standard cabanas offer privacy and exclusivity for parties up to six. Additionally, 46 plush daybeds and over-water lily pads offer a cocoon of comfort, while 58 chaise lounges with sun umbrellas provide the perfect spot for guests to recline and savor the essence of leisure in its most lavish form. With a subtle color palette and distinct striped upholstery, Durango’s poolside oasis is a stylish respite and effortlessly cool friendly oasis in the sun.

“Bel-Aire Backyard marks a transformative moment for Southwest Las Vegas, introducing an exclusive and refined destination that responds to the desires of Las Vegas’ most exciting neighborhood,” said Andy Masi, founder of Clique Hospitality. “Our design and poolside offerings have been thoughtfully curated, creating an inviting escape where the community can unwind and revel in a new era of elevated experiences.”

While guests unwind and rejuvenate, Backyard Grill, a 96-seat restaurant and bar open daily from 11 a.m. to sunset, boasts an expansive menu of upscale eats, including breakfast bites, sashimi and sushi rolls, flatbreads, burgers and more. Standouts include the miso sea bass lettuce cups using baby gem lettuce and served with pickled veggies and crispy kataifi; summer watermelon salad with cucumber, feta cheese, pickled red onions, Marcona almonds, lemon mint vinaigrette, mint and finished with an ancho chili honey dressing; the warm crab and avocado salad, made with butter lettuce, pickled shallots, avocado and radish tossed in a citrus vinaigrette; and avocado toast, multigrain toast topped with organic avocado, roasted tomatoes and lemon zest. Several sushi dishes are punctuated with the “Bel-Aire Sushi Yacht!,” an assorted sushi feast with cut maki rolls and nigiri served with several house-made sauces.

Further enriching the gastronomic journey, Backyard Grill serves an array of tantalizing cocktails, such as the Fresh and Easy featuring Botanist gin, cucumber, mint, and St. Germain and tonic water; tropical mojito crafted with Havana Club aged rum, fresh passionfruit purée, fresh chopped pineapple, mint, lime juice and topped with sparkling water; and the Under the Palms made with Cruzan rum, mint, lime, pineapple and hibiscus simple syrup. Not to be missed are its vast spirits and wine offerings, as well as beer buckets with both domestic and imported options.

“Bel-Aire Backyard will provide our guests with a relaxing escape that seamlessly blends the indoor and outdoor experiences we set out to create when designing Durango,” said David Horn, vice president and general manager of Durango Casino & Resort. “From incredible weddings, private events to high-energy vibes all summer, Bel-Aire Backyard is going to be the place to be.”

Bel-Aire Backyard is set to hypnotize guests with an electrifying lineup of special entertainment offerings, including heart-thumping live DJ sets from noon to sunset every Friday through Sunday. As summer draws near, the poolside sanctuary will undergo a metamorphosis into a hub of rhythm and energy with the debut of Recess Fridays, inviting both locals and visitors to immerse themselves in the music from 4 to 10 p.m.
