September Debuts Great Grades, Lucky Locals Nights and Hero Days
(Las Vegas, Nev.) – Sept. 9, 2020 – Cowabunga Bay, receives prestigious “Best Waterpark in the U.S. recognition by USA Today’s “10 Best.” The polls allowed individuals across the country to vote for their favorite roller coaster and water park from 20 nominated.
The award winning waterpark, Cowabunga Bay continues to cool off guests with more than 20 slides and attractions, including the largest lazy river in Nevada, 9 water slides, 4 surf and swim pools, and an interactive kids play area with 10 pint-sized slides and tipping buckets with special summer deals. The surf retro themed park creates the desired fun-filled playground for guests, featuring amenities such as heated pools, complimentary tubes and life jackets, shade structures, and gourmet food items.

Lucky Local Nights: The Lucky Locals Night specials for guests are the last three Fridays in September (11, 18 & 25th). Admission is $7.77 and tickets must be purchased online only at cowabungabayvegas.com. Park hours are 4:00-9:00pm.
Hero Weekend: September 12th & 13th – Hero Weekend (First Responders, Active and Retired Military, Police, Fire, Nurses and Doctors) will receive FREE admission with a valid work ID. Additional friends and family up to four (4) will have discounted admission of $19.99 per person.
Due to the health and safety of the guests during the COVID-19 pandemic, safety protocols at the waterpark have been implemented including: guests over the age of 10 are required to wear face masks at any outlet when making a purchase (Food, Retail, Cabana Check-In, Season Pass Processing, etc.); increased cleaning frequency for things such as common touch points, dining areas, lifejackets and slide tubes; limited park capacity; and social distance markings at attraction queues to encourage social distancing.
