S+O RESTAURANT AT DOWNTOWN GRAND LAS VEGAS DEBUTS EXPANDED MENU, INCLUDING CHINESE DISHES, DIM SUM
Property to Debut Private Dining and Meeting Room, New Sports Book Eatery Later This Year
This month, Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hotel & Casino will debut an expanded menu at its 24-hour restaurant, S+O. New items on the menu were inspired by guests’ most popular requests and will be offered at a variety of price points. In addition, Northern Chinese dishes, including hand-pulled noodles and dim sum, will now be available at S+O for lunch and dinner daily. The restaurant’s new menu is scheduled to be available beginning July 21.
Breakfast will now be served all day and will include S+O favorites such fresh-squeezed juices (orange, grapefruit, watermelon and cucumber), Cinnamon Roll Waffles topped with a sugar glaze, and Bacon-Stuffed Waffle served with two eggs any style and Vermont maple syrup. New breakfast dishes include Breakfast Burritos (steak-and-egg and chorizo-and-egg varieties); Breakfast Tacos filled with scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese; and a Waffle Sandwich, featuring a crispy waffle with two eggs, country sausage or smoked bacon and house potatoes with country gravy.
New lunch and dinner offerings include “Hangover” Oxtail Soup with hearty braised oxtail and simmered vegetables; The Jalapeño Burger, a special, house-blend double-meat burger with mounds of jalapeños, American cheese, shredded lettuce and mustard; the Crispy Fish Sandwich served “fish-and-chips style” and Jumbo Fried Shrimp served with house fries. These offerings join S+O’s crowd-pleasing items such as the popular Braised Short Rib, served with Yukon potato purée, braised vegetables and bordelaise; S+O “Famous” Fried Chicken, accompanied by coleslaw, wedge fries and potato salad; and the award-winning OMG! Burger, served with grilled tomato, bacon, shallot aioli and fried onion.
S+O’s menu now also features unique Northern Chinese noodle dishes, dumplings, soups and specialty items. Among the dishes served for lunch and dinner are Spicy Mini-Wontons with Garlic Sauce; Crispy Beef with Carrots; Shiu-Mai, Pork and Shrimp Dumplings; Sichuan Fish in Spicy Garlic Sauce; and Ma Po Tofu with Minced Beef or Pork.
Finally, to provide the perfect capstone to any meal at S+O, indulgent house-made desserts include S+O Famous Cheesecake, Butterscotch Pudding, “Downtown’s Best” Carrot Cake and Key Lime Pie, to name a few.
In response to guests seeking an intimate location to dine privately, Downtown Grand will be transitioning the former Red Mansion restaurant space into a private dining and meeting room. This room will accommodate guests desiring private luncheons or dinners, as well as small banquet events and meetings.
This fall, Downtown Grand will introduce a new eatery in its William Hill Sports Book. This venue, which replaces The Spread Deli, will be announced in the coming weeks and will offer casual food—perfect for noshing while watching the big game.

Beginning July 21, S+O will serve breakfast 24 hours per day. Lunch and dinner items will be available 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. daily and additional special dinner entrees will be offered 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. S+O’s Chinese menu will be available 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
