Today is National Flip Flip Day.
The Las Vegas Fashion Council and the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation will be collecting flip flops to benefit the homeless population from now thru Monday, June 21 at participating drop-off locations, Sambalatte, Wicked Donuts and Mora Iced Creamery, and several of our local fire stations. including to help during this Vegas heat.
They are collecting flip flops in all sizes, but primarily need Men (10-11) & Women (8-10) with a goal to gather 800 pair of flip-flops for men and women.

ABOUT FIREFIGHTERS OF SOUTHERN NEVADA BURN FOUNDATION
The Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation consists of active fire department personnel providing support to victims of fires & catastrophic events. The Burn Survivor Initiative raises funds to help more children attend seasonal burn camps, receive counseling and attend school reintegration programs. The Burn Foundation also collects toys for the disadvantaged children throughout the valley, and have provided at least one toy to thousands of children in need during the holidays.
