Grand Opening With VIP Reception and Special Screening
The first Luxury+ designed theater now open at Green Valley Town Center
Galaxy Green Valley Luxury+ Theatre celebrated its grand opening on Thursday, Mar. 7 at the Green Valley Town Center. The event featured a ribbon cutting with Henderson Mayor Andy A. Hafen and Henderson Councilwoman Gerri Schroder along with Galaxy Theatres executives. Councilwoman Gerri Schroder presented the President of Galaxy Theatres, Rafe Cohen, with a special proclamation from Mayor Hafen proclaiming Mar. 7-10 Galaxy Luxury+ Days. Galaxy Green Valley Luxury+ Theatre opened to the public on Mar. 8, 2013.
“Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the grand opening of Galaxy Green Valley Luxury+ Theatre. The warm welcome we have received from the City of Henderson has been great and Galaxy Theatres is excited to bring a more luxurious movie-going experience to the area,” said Cohen. “We invite everyone to enjoy the Luxury+ experience and settle back with a glass of wine and the best large screen auditorium in the Las Vegas area.”
The first Luxury+ designed theater, and the only one of its kind in Nevada, Galaxy Green Valley Luxury+ Theatre features may one-of-a-kind amenities including: cushioned seats that fully recline with powered footrests and attached snack tables that allow for absolute relaxation while watching a first-run movie; aisles that measure seven feet let reclining patrons stay in position, undisturbed while allowing enough room for other movie-goers to pass by – all for the same admission as a standard movie theater. Additionally, premium concessions including beer on tap and wine service are available for purchase in the lobby and can be enjoyed in any of the theater’s eight auditoriums.
Purchase tickets in advance online at galaxytheatres.com or at the box office, and just like purchasing tickets for a concert, choose a seat before even entering the theater. iPhone users can also find movies and show times and purchase tickets on-the-go with the official Galaxy Theatres smart phone app. Download is free in the app store.
