Grand Canal Shoppes inside The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas will celebrate Vespa’s 75th anniversary with the return of its Italian red Vespa along with Vespacho and Vespalina, the renowned Vespa Love Couple. On Friday, April 23, The Shoppes will debut the anticipated return of the popular activation and will mark the official affair and kick-off to a summer with plenty of celebrations. In honor of the birthday, the iconic destination will host a stunning photo opportunity with the Vespa and Vespa Love Couple plus offer exclusive giveaways to guests throughout the summer.
Starting Friday, April 23, the classic red Vespa will spring back to life in the luxury wing near Jimmy Choo. A blooming wall adorned with blossoming sunflowers will transport guests to the cobblestone streets of Italy for a must-have photo opportunity during select holidays throughout the summer including Memorial Day Weekend, National Vespa Day, Fourth of July Weekend and Labor Day Weekend. Accompanying the iconic scooter will be Vespacho and Vespalina, the Vespa Love Couple, who will offer guests their famed Italian-inspired “love advice” plus surprise and delight branded gifts, in addition to $25 gift cards for the first 75 guests who join to kick-off celebration on Friday, April 23.
These offers will be available from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the following dates:

- Memorial Day Weekend: May 27 – 31
- National Vespa Day: Wednesday, June 30
- Fourth of July Weekend: July 1 – 4

Grand Canal Shoppes’ summer of celebrations will be held in a safe manner. In addition to enhanced practices focused on the health and safety of guests and team members, including frequent cleanings and controlling the number of guests visiting the activation, the photo opportunity will be located in a stanchioned space to allow social distancing and Vespacho and Vespalina will wear masks and gloves at all times.
