WHAT: Last night, Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto celebrated the release of his all new show “Sushi Master” at the MGM Grand Resort in Las Vegas. In partnership with Roku, Sushi Master features the renowned chef and restaurateur as head judge of a cooking competition centered on the world’s most popular cuisine: sushi. The night began with a welcome speech from the one and only Masaharu Morimoto, along with Roku executive, David Eilenberg. Eilenberg gave a thank you to all those involved in the production before turning it over to Chef. Chef Morimoto thanked everyone for the support, and gave a special thanks to his wife and on-screen host, Lyrica Okano. After welcoming everyone in, party guests got to watch the trailer and sizzle reel for the new show. 
Guests in attendance were also able to participate in the iconic 50 ft Maki Roll demonstration. All participants went outside, and Chef instructed step by step on how to achieve the delicacy. Participants included Roku executives and members of the media. After achieving the 50 ft Maki Roll, guests went back into the lounge and enjoyed drinks and light bites.
