First Friday is kicking off the new year supporting artist installations. The first one for 2022 was just finished for Stanford Elementary school; students and staff are ecstatic! Artist Tony Castillo completed this “Because I Matter” mural to welcome students back to school after the winter break this week. This was a collaboration with Dazzle Africa, a non-profit supporting conservation and education. Together with First Friday and sponsors like Dazzle Africa we continue to make a difference in the world around us.
