MLE competitors to battle for champion title and $10,000 in prize money
Major League Eating is thrilled to announce the return of the sensational face-off that captivated the world: The Siegel’s Bagelmania World Bagel Eating Championship! #1-Ranked Competitive Eater Joey Chestnut and other top-ranked Major League Eating athletes are slated to compete at the second annual Siegel’s Bagelmania World Bagel Eating Championship on Saturday, January 13, 2024. The event takes place at 11 a.m. at Siegel’s Bagelmania, 252 Convention Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV.
Last year’s National Bagel Day was nothing short of legendary. #2-Ranked Competitive Eater Geoff Esper didn’t just participate, he dominated, obliterating records with a staggering 17.75 bagels with cream cheese in eight minutes. But he wasn’t alone on the battlefield. Titans like Nick Wehry and Miki Sudo were hot on his trail, consuming 14.75 and 12.75 bagels, respectively. In honor of National Bagel Day, Major League Eating competitors will return to the iconic Siegel’s Bagelmania in Las Vegas to battle for the championship title and $10,000 in prize money. The event is open to the public. Guests who attend will receive a free commemorative t-shirt, while supplies last.
In a league of its own, Siegel’s Bagelmania has been delighting fans with their quintessential New York-style bagels, bridging the gap between the East Coast and Las Vegas for more than 30 mouth-watering years. Siegel’s Bagelmania is a modern-day Jewish delicatessen and bakery that is one of the city’s most iconic meeting spots for influencers, business and community leaders, celebrities and professional athletes. - Number-eight-ranked competitive eater, Derek Hendrickson from Las Vegas, Nev.
- Number-nine-ranked competitive eater, Patrick Bertoletti from Chicago, Ill.

MIKI SUDO wins her 9th belt and sweeps the women’s competition.
The annual Nathan’s Fourth of July International Hot Dog eating contest at the Famous Nathan’s on Stillwell and Surf avenues in Coney Island.
The defending Men’s champion and the world record holder Joey “JAWS” Chestnut and the Women’s champion Miki Sudo are committed to go for the records.
About 20-25K fans are expected to attend.
